Master’s Thesis
THE STORYMACHINE
2023-2024 | “About stories and how they manifest on a spatial scale”
The subject of my Master’s Thesis was Theatre design. Driven by a fascination with storytelling, I explored the world of set, costume, and lighting design and designed a retelling of the story of Casanova. In three different scenes, I depicted the dark side of this character.
This project was part of the exhibition “To a school where ‘un-learning’ is key” (original title: “Naar een school waar afleren centraal staat”) in Halle.

LIGHT LIVING
|
Create a positive discomfort in a space
Light Living explores how light can influence the way people live in their homes through two scenarios: one using sunlight and the other artificial lighting.

This design revolves around a central element with three functions. Firstly, it provides lighting through strategically placed perforations. Secondly, it serves as the source of heat by housing the stove’s chimney. Finally, it acts as a vertical connection between the different rooms.
