This dissertation was completed in the middle of a global pandemic. The arrival of covid -19 has radically changed the daily life of the world community. People started giving great consideration to health, both personal and public, while architects, because of the situation, drew inspiration, were influenced and re-evaluated the bond between health, medical science and architecture. Since the covid-19 pandemics, new, more complex relationships, design constraints and factors that directly and dynamically affect the medical tourism industry have emerged, emphasizing on the importance of architectural intentions in the overall process of designing and constructing a project.
With the present study, a first attempt is made to approach and combine the branches of "tourism", "health - medicine", and "architecture", with a dominant question and reflection "how is a health and hospitality space designed?".
