The proyect, as well as the two folllowing is located in the island of Tabarca, the smallest habitated island in the Mediterranean Sea. The teachers asked us to create a museum in homage to the sea anywhere on the island.
The proposal is a diagonal at the east of the island, in relation with the lighthouse and the cementery, with creates a linear promenade. It starts with a space that allows the user to physically feel the sea, following by a linear space that is contracting and expanding. Finally, you find yourself in that “end of Tabarca” that you werent able to see thanks to the condition os barrier of the element.
The second exercise consisted in proposing a project for a small house in Tabarca given a plot. The corner position of the first plot allows experimenting with different geometries in plan
. Thanks to this formal experimentation, it is concluded that the project will be the result of the superposition of three curved concrete walls that will carry the structure, organize the space and mark the route. With this simple operation we achieve complex and unconventional spaces in which the exterior coexists and is completed with the interior.
Given the second plot, this time it was decided to establish a relationship with the square and take as a reference the gates or thresholds of the wall surrounding the island. Shaded public spaces that are appreciated in a climate as hot as Tabarca.
In this way, the first floor is completely free except for the staircase. Following the thread of the course, we continue exploring with the curve and with the structure this time made up of arches that structure the space, freeing it from partitions in such an extremely narrow plot.
The exercise consists of projecting two residential buildings in a park in Madrid, both will have the shape of a 10x10x100 prism with the only difference that one prism will be horizontal and the other vertical.
Both proposals are an exploration of unconventional structures. The horizontal building is the result of a series of filters that make the building disappear among the trees of the park. In the vertical one, the cloud of pillars moves to the periphery of the square. disappearing in height and giving the building both lightness and movement.

The given task outlines the creation of a 30-meter cube intended to host contemporary art exhibitions in Madrid.
The proposal introduces four grand pillar-skylights designed to support the entire structure while serving as a source of natural light within the space. Hanging from these pillars are platforms that can vary in height, adapting to the nature of each exhibition. Due to this adaptable nature of the central space, circulation will occur along the perimeter, allowing for the facade to adopt a distinct character, adding contrast and avoiding mundane pathways.
“A study of light through architecture.”
