Captivating wine with a big presence, from 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Shiraz and 4% Merlot, with just the Shiraz receiving 12 months in 50% new and 50% year old French oak barrels. Blending was done just before bottling and now it’s nicely mature aromas are complex, with cherry, raspberry, mint and eucalyptus, leading to a juicy and smooth black fruit palate with notes of pepper and mocha.
No Added Sulphur 2012
Perfectly healthy selected grapes and meticulous winemaking, has produced a great and authentic wine with no sulphur at all added, (SODOS in Catalan relates to sulphur, so NOSODOS is ‘no sulphur’!). Made from 90% Xarello and 10% Chardonnay, this dry and clean white has lovely melon and citrus qualities with a big thread of Penedès minerality throughout. Limited production only.
