We expect our student-athletes to be just as successful in the classroom. A recent self study conducted by the university indicated that, of all the athletes who completed their eligibility at Tiffin Unidu versity in the last five years, 95% of those athletes graduated. Dragons Head Coach Erica Brown Erica Brown finished her third season as head coach at Tiffin University in 2015. si In 2015, the Dragons reached the GLIAC Tournament Championship game for the third consecutive season, falling 22-13 to Grand Valley ga State. They also had three First Team selections in the conference, as St Jessica Bombard earned her third consecutive GLIAC Goalkeeper Je of the Year honor, and Emily Roussel and Tori Nelson were also honored. In all, seven Dragons were All-GLIAC honorees. Bombard ho also became Tiffin’s first NCAA All-American. al In 2015, the Dragons had the best season in school history, going 118, 6-1 in the GLIAC. They put together a 9-game winning streak and finished the season winning 11 of their final 13 games. The 11 victories broke the record of 10 wins set by the 2012 team. That team to had seven players earn All-GLIAC honors including Goalkeeper of ha the Year Jessica Bombard. Alexandria Quast earned All-American th ho honors after setting numerous game, season and career NCAA Divisi sion II records. Ti Tiffin excelled academically as the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacr crosse Coaches Association recognized the squad for having the best GP GPA in NCAA Division II in 2013. Br Brown previously served as Head Coach at Lycoming College, leadin ing the team to a 19-17 overall record, 15-8 in the Middle Atlantic Co Conference over her two seasons. All-Conference honors. In her first season with Lycoming, Brown posted a 7-4 conference recordand led the Lady Warriors to the first round of theMiddle Atlantic Conference playoffs. Brown also served two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at nearby Lock Haven University, working with the Division II Lady Eagles’ lacrosse program. While at Lock Haven, she assisted the coaching staff with all areas of running the program, including recruiting, gameday preparation, conditioning, academic monitoring and fund-raising. The Lady Eagles posted a combined record of 33-6 in her two years on the staff, including a trip to the NCAA Final Four in 2007. That same year, Brown coached the Division II Midfielder of the Year, two first team All-Americans, two second team All-Americans and two All-NCAA Tournament players. In her two years at Lock Haven, she coached a total of seven All-Americans. Brown also spent much of 2012 as 2016 Elite Coach for T3 Lacrosse Club in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. She also was a clinic instructor teaching lacrosse basics to players between 10-18 years of age. She played lacrosse at Wagner University. A standout goalkeeper, Brown still ranks second all-time in Wagner history in career minutes played, career saves and career goals against average. She also holds the record for minutes played in a season and ranks second in saves in a season. A co-captain of the team in her senior year, she was ranked on lax.com as one of the top-12 goalies in all of Division I. Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy and administration from Wagner in 2005 and is finishing her master’s degree in liberal arts from Lock Haven. She is certified as a lacrosse referee by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and U.S. Lacrosse.
Dragons Assistant Coach James Delaney James Delaney finished his first season coaching with the Dragons. He enjoyed a standout men's lacrosse career at Seton Hill University, landing All-American honors three times over his four seasons. In addition to his three AllECAC honors, he was named the 2013 and 2012 USILA Midfielder of the Year while also earning All-Academic selection. Delaney was also a second round draft pick of the Philadelphia Wings of the NLL in 2013. He earned a Bachelor's degree in History in 2013 and is pursuing his Master's degree at Tiffin University.
V Volunteer Assistant Coach L Lauren Caminiti La Lauren Caminiti serves as Senior Woman Administrator and Student-Athlete Resource Specialist at Tiffin University. Caminiti facilitates and administers the day so to day operations of the athletic department. She works closely with the Athletic Director and athletic staff in different capacities and manages administrative activDi ities including camps, fundraisers, Hall of Fame Banquet, Golf Outings, and game it day events. Caminiti is also the SAAC Advisor and NLI Administrator for TU. da Lauren Caminiti spent 2 seasons as an Assistant Women's lacrosse coach in 2013 La and 2014 at Millersville University. During her time at Millersville, she played an integral part in producing five allconference players, 10 PSAC Scholar Athletes, a 2013 IWLCA Academic Squad, and accomplished the program’s first winning season in 12 years in 2013. Caminiti’s team also received the PSAC Sportsmanship Award. The award is given to the team “that best exemplifies the spirit of sportsmanship and who has demonstrated the values of respect and integrity through a specific action ideally directed toward an opponent.” The team earned this award in the wake of a horrible bus accident that involved Seton Hill University's Women’s Lacrosse team. The accident injured numerous team members and killed head coach Kristina Quigley and her unborn son. The fundraiser, which accumulated over $10,000, was created for Coach Quigley’s surviving husband and son. Before coming to Tiffin, Lauren also was the Director of Girl’s Lacrosse at Spooky Nook Sports in Manheim, PA. There, Caminiti was solely responsible for the Lacrosse Academy system, implementing successful camps and clinic programs, managing and hosting tournaments, creating consistent lacrosse leagues, and advertising ideas for upcoming programming. Furthermore, she oversaw all programming for Girl's Lacrosse at Nook Sports: curriculum, employees, programming. Prior to her coaching career and director’s position Caminiti attended Temple University and achieved her B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management. Caminiti also played collegiate lacrosse at Temple University where she was a four-year varsity letter-winner named to the Atlantic 10 Second Team, All-Philly Second Team by PhillyCollegeSports.com and Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week as a Senior. While at Temple, Caminiti was also named to Temple's Director's Honor Roll for four straight years, Senior Seminar class president, 2012 Student Commencement Speaker and a 2-year member of the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2015 Dragons Lacrosse Review The Tiffin University lacrosse team had another outstanding season under 3rd year coach Erica Brown. Tiffin finished 11-8 overall, and posted a 6-1 GLIAC record. The Dragons regular season schedule this season was filled with quality opponents. TU fell in its first six games, and five of the games were decided by four goals or less including a double overtime loss. Once the Dragons got rolling, they took off like a rocket, running off nine consecutive victories before falling to Grand Valley State. The Dragons, just like the previous two years, were the number two-seeded team in the conference tournament. The Dragons first round game was against rival Findlay. In that contest, Tiffin bulldozed the Oilers 26-13. In the season finale, The Dragons played Grand Valley State. This was the 3rd consecutive year that the Lakers and Dragons had played for the GLIAC Title. The 1st half was a hotly contest one, with the Dragons trailing 10-8 at the half. The 2nd half was costly for TU as the Lakers outscored the Dragons 12-5 in the half to pull away and win 22-13. Tiffin had seven players that received GLIAC honors. Jessica Bombard won her 3rd consecutive GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year award, and earned a 1st team All-GLIAC selection. Joining Bombard on the 1st team was attacker Emily Roussel and midfielder Tori Nelson. Roussel finished the season with 69 goals, 13 assists, 82 Ne total points, and 51 draw controls. Nelson netted 52 goals, dished to out 13 assists, and snagged 99 draw controls. ou Gina Abulone and Randi Castner were both selected as All-GLIGi AC 2nd team members. Abulone led the Dragons with 47 assists on the season, and also scored 20 goals. Castner grabbed 30 si ground balls, grabbed 13 draw controls, and caused 23 turnovers. gr Alexis MacMillan and Megan Belch each garnered All-GLIAC Al Honorable Mention accolades. MacMillan totaled 48 points on the Ho season, with 33 goals and 15 assists. Belch picked up 26 ground se balls, collected 6 draw controls, and caused 12 turnovers. ba

Lacrosse Facilities Frost-Kalnow Stadium Tiffin University enjoys playing its home women’s lacrosse games at Frost-Kalnow Stadium, a recently renovated facility that seats 4,500 and is recognized as one of the premier football stadiums in Northwest Ohio. The stadium is shared by Tiffin University, Columbian High School and Calvert High School, and was originally built by Franklin Roosevelt’s WPA during the 1930s. Recently millions of dollars were spent in the renovation of the existing structure and the installation of state-of-the-art artificial turf.
Paradiso Fields The Dragons also have a large practice facility at the Tiffin University Athletic Fields, a recently developed property close to the TU campus. The location is just 1.5 miles from the Tiffin University campus and resides on 78 acres of land that also house all of the outdoor athletics teams at TU. The Athletic Fields, which debuted in the Fall of 1997, feature a baseball field, two softball fields, two soccer fields, an outdoor track facility, and two football practice fields.

The middle section of the facility has coaches’ offices, locker rooms, an athletic training room, two classrooms, and a food court.
Physical Fitness Center TU also enjoys using the Tiffin University Physical Fitness Center, yet another recently expanded facility benefiting the studentathlete on TU’s ever-growing campus. The facility, which recently doubled in size, features a cutting-edge weight center that is continually upgraded with new equipment.
Tiffin University Lacrosse 2015 Athletic Honors Bombard named All-American Another day, another first for Tiffin University’’s women’s lacrosse program and goalkeeper Jessica Bombard. Bombard became the first All-American in the program’s history, landing Third Team honors from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association. Bombard, a native of Henrietta, New York, was earlier named to the NCAA North All-Region 2nd team as a goalkeeper. Bombard ended her career 2nd all-time in NCAA Division II history in saves with 934. She was a 3-time GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year award recepient, and ranks inside the top 5 all-time in NCAA Division II in minutes played.
Tiffin lands two on All-Region squad The Tiffin University lacrosse team has reached new heights, as senior Jessica Bombard and junior Emily Roussel were named to the Division II All-Region team. Bombard, a native of Henrietta, New York, was named to the All-Region 2nd team as a goalkeeper. Bombard ended her career 2nd all-time in NCAA Division II history in saves with 934. She was a 3-time GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year award recepient, and ranks inside the top 5 all-time in NCAA Division II in minutes played. Emily Roussel is a junior from Georgetown, Texas. Roussel was named to the All-Region 3rd team as an attacker. Roussel was a All-GLIAC 1st team selection this season, scoring 69 goals and dishing out 13 assists. In her career, Roussel has totaled 206 career goals.
Tiffin racks up All-GLIAC honors Jessica Bombard landed her third consecutive GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year honor, as the GLIAC released its all-conference honors as selected by vote of the conference coaches. Bombard finished the season ranked fourth in NCAA Division II Lacrosse with an impressive .541 save percentage allowing only 167 goals all season and picking up 197 saves. In conference play Bombard saved 55.3% of the shots she saw and allowed only 10.51 goals per game. Bombard is currently second in career saves in NCAA Division II history. Bombard was one of three First Team selections. Attacker Emily Roussel and midfielder Tori Nelson were also First Team picks. Roussel was 4th in goals scored with 58 and 5th in overall points with 70. Nelson, meanwhile, was 7th in goals with 45, 8th in points with 58, and 2nd in draw controls with 83. Gina Abulone and Randi Castner were Second Team picks. Abulone nearly led the GLIAC in assists, coming in 2nd with 43, while also finishing 7th in points with 62. Castner was one of TU’s top defenders, finishing 7th in the GLIAC in caused turnovers with 20. Alexis MacMillan and Megan Belch were Honorable Mention selections. MacMillan finished her Dragons career with another solid season, totaling 30 goals, 14 assists, and 44 points, while defender Belch also played well with 11 caused turnovers and 22 ground balls.

Personal: Tiffany Anderson is the daughter of Charles and Betsy LeCompte-Anderson. She has one sibling, a brother, Taylor Anderson. Tiffany intends to major in Sports Management. High School: Tiffany attended Cambridge South-Dorchester High School. While in attendance, she was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. She was also named team MVP for her lacrosse and basketball teams.

Courtney is from Winchester, Ohio and intends to major in Forensic Psychology. High School: Courtney attended Pickerington Central High School. While Courtney was there she was named 1st team OCC, Best Defensive Player, All-Ohio Honorable Mention, and was on her high school’s academic honor roll all four years.

Amanda intends to major in Forensic Science. High School: Amanda attended Rush-Henrietta High School, while there she garnered 1st team All-County, All-Academic Award, and was selected to the National Honor Society.

2015: Oduho played in 9 games for the Dragons with one start. She scored one goal, and added an assist. Personal: Diana comes to Tiffin University from Erie, Pennsylvania. One interesting fact about Diana is that she has 13 siblings, and 4 of them play college athletics. She intends to major in Communications. High School: Diana attended Villa Maria Academy, while in attendance she earned numerous athletic honors. Diana was named team MVP, Midfielder of the year twice, and AllDistrict 1st team three times. Diana also starred in the classroom, an honor roll student all four years of high school and a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

2015: Nelson was the Jack of all trades for Tiffin in 2015. She was 2nd on the team in goals with 52 and points with 65. Nelson picked up 25 ground balls, but her most impressive stat was the 99 draw controls she wrestled away from the opposition. Tori was awarded for her play on the field, as she was selected to the All-GLIAC 1st team. 2014: Nelson saw action in 19 games with 16 coming in the starting lineup. Tori scored 35 goals and added 11 assists. Nelson recorded 43 groundballs, 36 draw controls, and caused 15 turnovers. Nelson was 11-22 on free position shots.

2015: Bombard had another typical season, totaling 216 saves, and a save percentage of 51.7. Jessica ended her career 2nd all-time in NCAA Division II history in saves with 918. She earned her 3rd consecutive GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year award, another 1st team All-GLIAC selection, an All-Region selection, and was named 3rd team All-American. 2014: Bombard played in all 20 games, starting 18 for the Dragons. Jessica recorded 246 saves and finished the season with a goals against average of 11.71. Bombard went 9-11 in goal for the Dragons. Bombard was named Goalkeeper of the year for the second consecutive season. Bombard led the GLIAC in saves, save percentage, and wins. Jessica was also the NCAA leader for Saves and Save Percentage 2013: Was 10-9 with 219 saves and a 11.40 GAA ... Set the school single-game record with 22 saves versus Grand Valley State (May 5) ... In those games, she scored 47 goals and added 17 assists. Morgan added 30 ground balls to her stat line, and caused 14 turnovers. 2014: Morgan played in 20 games last season, starting 15 games. Sherley scored 24 goals, added 7 assists, and picked up 17 groundballs. Morgan was 8-11 free positioned shots.

2015 Roussel was firing on all cylinders in 2015, leading the Dragons with 69 goals and 82 points. Her 32 groundballs and 51 draw controls were good enough for 2nd on the team. Her play on the field earned her numerous accolades, including 1st team All-GLIAC and All-Region. 2014: Roussel played in all 20 games for the Dragons, starting 18. She led the Dragons in goals, points, and was second in assists. Emily snagged 48 ground balls, 78 draw controls, and caused 28 turnovers. She earned two GLIAC awards last year - GLIAC Co-Attacker of the year and 1st team All-GLIAC 2013: Started all 19 games ... Scored 63 goals with 15 assists for 78 points ... Had a career-high seven goals versus Walsh (April 5) ... Ranked among the top 25 in NCAA Division II in goals, goals per game, points and ground balls ... All-GLIAC second team ... Synapse Sports and Women’s Lacrosse.com All-Rookie selection. Georgetown HS: Two-time all-state honoree ... Helped her team qualify for the state playoffs twice. 2015: Schaeffer started 18 games for Tiffin, and played great defense for Coach Brown. In those 18 games she collected 19 ground balls, 5 draw controls, and caused 7 turnovers.
2015 MacMillan finished her career with another great season. She scored 33 goals and chipped in with 15 assists. She garnered her 3rd All-GLIAC selection in four years.
Personal: Marci Schaeffer is the daughter of Todd and Jobi Schaeffer. Marci has one sibling, a brother named Todd. She intends to major in Sports Management.
2014: MacMillan played in all 20 games, starting 18. Alexis scored 37 goals, dished out 16 assists, grabbed 20 ground balls, and 16 draw controls. Alexis was selected to the AllGLIAC 2nd team last season.
25 G Gina Abulone So Sophomore Attacker 5-5 5- Hamburg, NY 2015: Abulone did a little bit of everything for Tiffin, scoring 20 goals, but leading Tiffin and the GLIAC in assists with 47. Those statistics garnered Gina an All-GLIAC 2nd team selection. 2014: Gina Abulone made noise as a freshman for the Dragons. The young attacker scored 40 goals and handed out 29 assists. 70 of Gina’s 86 shots came on goal, the highest percentage amongst her teammates. Gina earned an All-GLIAC 2nd team selection.
2013: Started all 19 games ... Scored 38 goals with 47 assists for 85 points ... Had a career-high seven assists versus Findlay (April 3) and Alderson-Broaddus (April 26) ... Ranked among the top 10 in NCAA Division II for assists and assists per game ... All-GLIAC first team selection. 2012: Started all 17 games scoring 29 goals with 25 assists for 54 points ... Led the team in assists, was second in points and third in goals ... Scored three or more goals five times ... had a career-high four goals versus Alma (April 20). Rush Henrietta HS: All-Munroe County second team in tennis. Personal: Daughter of Stephanie and Tom ... Has two siblings, Elle and Gunner ... Her dad and uncle (Mark MacMillan) both played lacrosse at NCAA Division I Canisius ... MacMillan is majoring in Education.

2015: Koch saw action in 6 games for Tiffin. She netted 3 goals, and grabbed 4 draw controls. Personal: Devyn Koch is the daughter of Brad and Mary Koch. She has three siblings and is undecided in her choice of major.

2015: Maisano hit the field for Tiffin in 6 games this past year, saving 12 of the 16 shots she faced. 2014: Kali played in 4 games for the Dragons last year. She recorded six saves last season.
High School: Devyn attended Hanover High School, while she was there, Devyn garnered All-American honors, Super Team for the Patriot Ledger, and was a member of the field hockey team.
