Susan Semmelmann lives by her company’s motto, “The spirit of living is in the giving.” Even after receiving multiple design awards— ranging from best interiors, best overall design, best creative spaces, best offices, best bathrooms, best kitchens—when we asked her what her greatest professional accomplishment was she said it was being able to use her platform in her business to help others help others. Susan has also been awarded Philanthropist of the Year Award, The Rosie Moncrief Hope Award, Top 400 of Fort Worth Award, and Entrepreneur of the Year Award. As the owner and founder of Semmelmann Interiors she says, “I want to give back all that I can so that others can experience a fun, exciting transition in their home that happens through trust, faith, and fellowship.” In the near future, she will be opening her Fort Worth Design Studio that will allow her to offer endless design resources, as well as expand her territory of showrooms and team. She’s in the process of developing her exclusive products in furnishings, decor and lighting. Susan and her husband have a beautiful family with three children. She loves being involved in the community and working with charities that are very personal to her. She knows that a home is personal, it is about you and your lifestyle, how you live and what you want to feel when you are in your happy place. At the end of a long day you are likely to find her relaxing and reflecting on a good day of gratitude for all life has to offer... to give us freedom, opportunity and a heart full of love for people. Susan admits that, “You never know what tomorrow holds, and I have learned to embrace each day as a gift and live it to the fullest, knowing I will never walk my life’s journey alone.”
