Online sales are expected to grow to 4.9 billion by 2021 in the USA alone. If you’re thinking of starting a dropshipping business, you’ll want to do everything you can to get a piece of the pie.

But the truth is, eCommerce isn’t easy.
And without carefully choosing the right product with consideration, you’re bound to fail. Selling random products will not bring you sales. You need a strategy. You need a method.
There will be thousands of articles on the internet telling you what product you need to stock to instantly earn millions. There’s a lot of misinformation floating around, and it is easy to get sucked into it.
I know, because when I was starting my eCommerce business, I was confused too. I found myself listening to dropshipping gurus who promised easy success when in reality they had never owned dropshipping stores themselves.
Building an online store and a brand takes time. You will try many things and fail and then try something else. It is a journey, where you will be constantly learning. You cannot jump to step 5 without step 1 through 4.
Dropshipping is not a hobby. It’s a business. It’s entrepreneurship.
You will not gain spectacular profits from your store without putting in the effort. Without research and learning and strategy.
This is the perfect place to start; you will learn the first and most crucial part of dropshipping.
Picking products at random, placing them on your website in lists, and running ads for them is going to kill your dropshipping business before it even begins. You’re wasting your money and time by doing this.
In this ebook, you will learn how to select the best products for your eCommerce store, using different channels and media. It will show you a new way of doing business.
It will provide you with a map to eCommerce, that gives you information that other store-owners don’t have.
It will help you stand out from your competition and make a mark. The competition out there is fierce, but this e-book gives you a headstart.
It will teach you how to research trends, markets, audiences, finances, and your personal choices while selecting products. It will teach you how to test products, and how to finalize them.
It will teach you a better strategy for your eCommerce store. A strategy for success.
Self-awareness is having a clear perception of your personality, including strengths, weaknesses, thoughts, beliefs, motivation, and emotions.
Self-awareness allows you to understand other people, and how they perceive your brand and strategy.
Without it, your chances of success are very slim.
The issue is: most people think they are self-aware but they actually aren’t. This is very often what separates my successful students from other people. You need to understand that struggling in business/ eCommerce is part of the learning process.
When you start, you will feel lost/confused and that’s totally normal. You might think that you understand how eCommerce works but that’s just an illusion.
Only with time and the right knowledge, you will start to see the big picture. Every day I see people creating an unappealing website, picking products at random, launching an ad without any knowledge, and expecting people to give them money. This method is purely delusional.
What makes a product a winner? What should you look for when you’re selecting a product? What characteristics of a product tell you that it’ll make you great sales?
There are certain checkboxes you need to tick off before you select a product for your store—you cannot just choose a product because it looks good, or because it is cheap.
You need products that your audience wants to buy on the spot after seeing your advertisement on Facebook, Google, Instagram, or Snapchat.
You need products that make people say ‘Shut up and take my money’. An impulse purchase that leaves little room for second thoughts.
Such products usually do at least two of the following:
People want to solve their problems. This is one of the biggest motivators for why people buy products. People buy vacuum cleaners because their pet sheds a lot of hair. They buy anti-theft backpacks because they’re afraid their belongings will be stolen.
Products that solve a problem immediately catch the eye of people who are suffering from the problem. These are easy sales because the need is already there, and your product satisfies it.
When choosing products always think to yourself “What problem does this product solve?”
Ever see a product that was so cool, and so irresistible that you had to buy it? A cat journal with a personalized tarot set? A customized street sign that you can use for home decor?
A product that is unique and grabs your viewers attention in an ad works great for dropshipping!
If your product can be found in Walmart or can be purchased on Amazon, you’re probably not going to make lots of profit off it. The product becomes commonplace and is probably available for cheaper in those marketplaces.
Choose a product that is not readily available on big, famous marketplaces!
You want your product to make people stop scrolling and click. But would a generic water bottle achieve this effect? Absolutely not.
You need a product that is new, one that the audience is seeing for the first time. You should be selling a product that has not been advertised much and thus, looks new to the audience’s eyes!
Selling a product is not easy. There are many challenges that make your job difficult, like:
No one knows your brand.
People have never heard of your store, and are not going to trust it instantly. If your product is generic, they will simply find a more reputable marketplace to buy it, instead of your store.
No one knows you—so you need to select a product that makes them stick with you and a store that assures that they can trust you.
This will not only guarantee sales, but it will also help build your brand
People are busy and are not looking to buy a product.
When you’re scrolling Facebook, for example, you will ignore ads. So will other people who see your ads.
This is because the product they saw was not attractive enough to catch their attention. But when the product is unique and desirable—they will stop. Social media is an attention game, you need to have a product that intrigues people.
If you are advertising a product that a large number of stores are already selling, chances are your audience has already seen it or bought it.
You’re not offering anything special, which makes your brand forgettable.
People are not interested in your product.
You might have a product that you think is awesome, but people might just not be interested in it.
This means that the product is going to cause you losses, even though it seemed like a good bet. You need to check if your product is viable before betting your money on it.
Like I said, choosing a product is a difficult process. There’s a lot that can go wrong. You could pick any product from AliExpress and start selling it today: but remember, making sales is easy, making a profit at the end of the year is difficult.
If it were really that easy, would so many eCommerce stores fail?
You cannot expect people to whip out their credit card and buy a product because they saw it in an ad. You wouldn’t do it. Your friends wouldn’t do it.
So why would others?
You need a product that overcomes all the above challenges and convinces people that the product is worth buying despite the obstacles. You need an unsaturated niche that is exciting to your audience.
And so, choosing a product at random is a recipe for disaster.
Finding the right product requires discipline, creativity, rational analysis and persistence.
This ebook will run you through all the steps to finding the right product and developing the knack for finding products that work like magic for you.
There’s a skill in choosing the right product. And the good news is that you can develop that skill.
Marc Chapon used to work in hospitality, until one day he decided he wanted to build something of his own. In 2017, Marc decided to start his entrepreneurial journey, and since then he hasn’t looked back. He started finding products, experimenting, learning—and within a year of constantly working long hours, he was making $60,000 per month.
He had no background in business, but he had the right mindset. When he quit his full-time job, he knew he had to work twice as hard to make a brand in dropshipping.
He experimented with products, found new strategies, and in the end, created a store in the pet niche that earned him $178,492 in three months
Since then, he’s been teaching new eCommerce store owners how to make it to success! Check out some screenshots of his and his clients’ stores below:
So you’re ready to tackle the big question: what niche is your store going to be in?
It can be confusing and you’ll probably change niches once or twice. It is normal to experiment.
But in the end, you need to find a niche and products that people love consistently. This section will help you understand what kind of products you need to sell to make your business sustainable for the long run!
You have a choice between a vacuum cleaner or an automatic dog feeder that tracks your dog’s meals.
What do you choose?
The dog feeder. Every time. Because a vacuum cleaner or a simple watch or any product that people use regularly, in their daily lives is available to them on Amazon, at far cheaper rates with double the security.
You do not stand a chance with a generic product because with evergreen products, people are only looking for two things:
Low cost and trustworthiness. Both of which Amazon, Ebay, Walmart etc win at.
Remember: you’re not here to compete with Amazon. You would not be able to make decent profit margins and ultimately your business would fail. You’re here to complement Amazon.
Choose products that are rare and more innovative. Choose products that get the attention of people.
With Spocket, you can choose from hundreds of handcrafted, one-in-a-million artisanal products that people have never seen before and would love to buy! And to top it off, they’re from US suppliers with fast shipping and satisfaction guarantees.
Dilemma #2: Should you be a single product store or sell multiple products?
If you manufacture your own unique products, and they’re extremely well received, then perhaps single product stores could work. But most of the time? It’s a terrible strategy.
If this strategy does work, then it only will for advanced dropshippers, and it’s not a good strategy for beginners.
First-time store-owners often have to experiment with products before settling on the right ones, but with single-product stores, it means starting from scratch every time a product is rejected.
You’ll be wasting time and money and selling nothing.
And if you do find a trending product that is picking up pace?
You will sell that one trending product, which hundreds of other competitors are ALSO selling and when the fad fades away, which happens every 5-6 months, so does your business.
All the emails you collected, all the customers’ information and research, all the data is now useless, because your next product might not cater to the same audience.
Your brand would not stand for anything.
If you want to create a strong long-term business, you need a store that relies on more than one viral product and FB ads. Think long-term.
Create a powerful brand that has a couple of product categories with 15-20 products in each. Test multiple products at the same time to find winners in each category.
You will move faster and be successful in the long run!
Dilemma #3: Should I go for an evergreen niche or a trending niche?
Choose an evergreen niche or a long-running niche—I will be showing you some of these below.
You need innovative, trendy products like a dog feeder, in a broad evergreen niche, which is pet products! This combination is perfect because you can change your products while keeping your brand intact and growing.
Fidget spinners might become obscure but the need for your evergreen store will never go away. People will always have babies. People will always love dogs. People will always need to eat. People will
always decorate and fix their homes.
This makes your business viable over a long period of time.
Need some ideas on niches that are evergreen and especially amazing today? Remember, if you’re passionate about a niche, and you know there is a demand for products in that market, trust your gut and go for it. You can also use niche scrapers for inspiration and to solidify your findings.
This is just a list to inspire you, based on my experience:
The Couples / Relationship Niche.
Love makes people do crazy things like purchase cute gifts and celebrate Valentine’s day. And it will always be in vogue.
Especially during February for Valentine Day and in December for Christmas, you are bound to make amazing sales if you have a product that is unique!
Selling customized gifts for boyfriends, girlfriends and significant others is a great niche, not only because of the wide range of gifts you can offer, but because it is incredibly easy to target your audience on Facebook!
You can sell jewelry, t-shirts, novelty gifts, Halloween outfits, accessories—the options are endless.
I know, I know—it is a small niche. But since I have a personal interest in it, I have done the required research and found that very few online stores cater to the interests of this category.
And the demand for it is super high. Motocross posters, accessories, t-shirts, helmets: all of these can make an incredibly successful store.
Sometimes, your personal experience can give you insights into a niche that no amount of external research would—use that to make ripples in the niche! Think of the hobbies or niches that you’re a part of, and use your existing knowledge to select a niche and products.
Because a niche is ignored or too small, it is the reason why there is so much potential in it!
A friend of mine found that gardening too, had a huge audience if you know where to look. If you have exciting and innovative products in such niches, you can always find people eager to buy them in Facebook communities and local gardening groups, because of their sustained interest in the hobby!
Surfing, rock-climbing, camping, etc. are all hobbies that might generate a lot of demand - with proper research, you can carve out a successful online store, with very few serious competitors!
MMA and UFC are really big right now, and related, funny mementos and accessories are booming. Although Google Trends shows interest in the UFC has been steady over the years, this is a niche that has not been exploited much.
You need products that don’t show sudden incline or decline but grow steadily over the years. These niches are best because they tend not to suddenly die out.
Like fidget spinners:
Probably not the best idea to make your brand out of selling fidget spinners or fads, because they are going to fade away.
You can see the difference in the Google trends graph—choose your niche wisely!
The one thing to remember with MMA or Jiu-Jitsu products is that you need to obtain the proper licenses before selling or make sure the products you are selling are not trademarked.
It’s simply not worth the risk of having your store shut down due to legal troubles and copyright violations.
This niche is a very interesting one, but let’s be honest, the same generic products that everyone has seen a thousand times are not going to cut it.
The following are too common for your audience to sit up and pay attention:
When you are targeting the fishing niche, you need unique products. Print on demand products such as t-shirts, personalized lures, home decor items, or gifts all have a greater chance of selling!
The reason is: people generally buy fishing supplies from local stores and Amazon. I will speak about choosing products the right way later in this ebook, which will guide you to what products sell best.
Home decor is a broad niche, and even though it may not always solve a problem—it is an amazing niche that has a lot of untapped potentials.
This niche can be divided into kitchen decor, wall art, sculptures and glass objects, paintings— the list is endless.
Google Trends shows that this niche is probably the most stable, well-performing one of all:
With Etsy and Spocket at your disposal, you can find really unique and intimate home decor items that people would want in their homes.
If home decor is a hot topic, home improvement is not too far behind! From funky hammers to shower sponges, from automatic lights to beautiful ladders—this niche has not been explored enough.
Home Improvement may sound like a dry niche, but when you know which products to pick, it can be super interesting!
Who said locks had to be boring?
Home improvement items might be slightly more expensive than traditional dropshipping products, but there are no rules to success—it might just mean that you have higher margins to gain!
With a product like a T-shirt that costs $10, the maximum you can charge for it is $20 - $40. But when you have a product such as a heater that costs $200, you could easily sell it for $300. Your profit margin can be as great as $100 with a heater, while a regular $10 product will leave you with minimal profit. This is why the home improvement niche can be incredible if you build a brand in it.
Share your enthusiasm for the planet by selling products related to the environment and donating a piece of your profit to NGOs. Climate change and environmental damage are huge issues that people happily rally behind.
A lot of people are passionate about preserving nature and habitats, and it’s a booming industry. You can contribute to it by starting a bee- or sea-themed store to help out the environment by donating a portion of proceeds while creating an awesome brand.
For example, WeWood sells wooden watches, eyewear, and other accessories—and for every product you buy, they plant a tree.
Have you seen those ‘Hustle Hard’ posters? Or the T-shirts with inspirational quotes?
They will never go out of style. As more and more people dabble in entrepreneurship, the hustle culture continues to grow, which means...the demand for these products also grows!
Not many stores cater exclusively to the entrepreneur niche and choosing it for your store would mean you would be the first choice for all motivational gifts people need.
Print-on-demand t-shirts, journals, posters, keychains, mugs, books, laptop covers, calendars, planners—you can create a great collection of products catering to this niche.
And the best part? Advertisements are easy.
There are podcasts and Facebook groups where entrepreneurs discuss matters and help each
other out—these communities are the perfect place to target your audience!
If you’ve been seeing a lot of mini pigs on Instagram, you’re not alone. A number of people have been caring for unusual pets lately and this is a new niche that few people have hopped on.
You can simply use products that are traditionally targeted at dogs for mini pigs or horses if they work and are safe.
For example, this pet bathing tool is pretty saturated in the dog niche:
But has it been advertised to horse owners?
Sometimes, thinking outside the box about your audience and the products you choose can give you new ideas for marketing!
Licensed pop culture products.
Harry Potter is consistently the highest searched term on Etsy. There are dedicated fan accounts and people are still obsessed.
Marvel, Star Wars, and other fandoms have equally enthusiastic audiences. And these audiences don’t need to be convinced of the value of your product. They already love it.
Selling licensed pop culture products like action figures and posters might involve an extra step, but it is completely worth it, because the returns are amazing.
The interest in these products is consistent and they basically sell themselves. In fact, your supplier is probably just a google search away.
These 10 niches are going to continue selling products like hot cakes in 2020 and onwards.
Once you have selected the niche, the next part of the process begins: Curating products.
In the next section, we will talk about finding top-quality products and reliable suppliers, using Etsy.
Let’s do a rewind on your dropshipping life to date. Because you’re probably never going to look back again.
It’s possible that you’ve been restricted to inexpensive, Chinese products that 500 other stores have also been selling. You’re struggling to get people to pay more than 0.02 seconds of their attention to your Facebook ads.
Diagnosis: You’ve spent too much time waiting, and too little time researching products.
All of this is going to change once you decide to dropship Etsy products.
And the best part is: Etsy products are just a few clicks away with Spocket. Spocket focuses on curating unique, handmade, artisanal products that your customers will love. All you need to do is sign up with Spocket, push products to your store, and start selling.
Why dropship Etsy products, you ask?
Because:
1. Better quality products: Etsy only allows handmade, vintage, unique products on their website, which means the products you find here will be more sturdy, carefully made, and of high-quality.
2. Faster shipping: Etsy suppliers are based all around the world, but especially in the US and Europe. This means you can guarantee faster, timely shipping with no delays or disappearances. No ePacket, just simple, and reliable USPS.
3. Better communication with suppliers: Who hasn’t heard of infamous encounters with AliExpress suppliers? With Etsy’s verified suppliers, you know you can rely on, and communicate with suppliers easily.
4. Unique products: There are hundreds of artisans that sell their products on Etsy exclusively, which means that most of your audience has never seen these products. Having zero competition is a pret-
ty sweet deal for a dropshipping business.
With Etsy suppliers, you can rest assured that your store won’t be accused of scamming because the products have fast shipping and will always make your customers happy!
And happy customers means great reviews—never get your ad account banned, never worry about your store’s future!
The market is saturated with AliExpress products. Do something new. Do something better.
Dropshipping Etsy products also helps small-scale artisanal suppliers! Often, the artisans on Etsy aren’t the best at marketing their products. That’s where you come in. You can hit two birds with one store (so to say) and make a successful brand for yourself by selling their products!
It’s easier than you think. First, find a product that is not generic, and then looking up reviews.
When looking for a product, ask yourself: Would I be interested in this product if I saw it in a FB ad?
When the answer is yes, dive into research.
As an example, let’s assume your niche is cat jewelry. So, you decide to go to Etsy and look for products.
And this one comes up:
Would this really catch your eye? They would appear to be just another pair of cat earrings. We’ve all seen too many of these.
Also: Don’t be fooled by the ‘Bestseller’ label! I have personally been misled by it, and bet on a few non-winning products. Choose products that you actually think will work.
But then, this one comes up:
Now this one is different. Not because it’s has a paw print, but because it will have your own cat’s paw print.
Now is the time to delve further-the supplier has 57869 reviews in total, which is generally a great sign. But these could be accumulated over 5 years. Or 10 years. You need more data.
Next, check out the review dates. They should be recent, and the timestamps should not be too far apart.
For this product, they seem pretty good, which a steady stream of orders and reviews popping up:
A lot of recent dates--which means the product is hot and people are regularly buying it!
Now, this is something you will not find in an average store, and the reviews show that there is traffic and demand for this product. Your purpose is to take the product to a bigger audience.
You bring them sales, and work with them to create products and photos and orders that suit both your businesses.
Spocket can make your job easier--you can simply add Etsy products from Spocket’s dashboard to your store. Alternatively, Spocket can also help you onboard a great supplier you want to work with and automate your processes.
Sometimes, the supplier might not want to work with you, but there are so many different suppliers on Etsy, that you’re bound to eventually hit the jackpot!
There’s one thing you have to note before you start running ads for the custom paw print ring:
The product pictures do not show the biggest unique selling proposition of the product. The pictures show a ring, which misses the whole point of the product. When you start advertising, you need to make sure that the ad clearly mentions the custom paw print.
You might have the coolest product, with a 100% chance of success, but if you fail to tell people why the product is amazing, you’re not going to win sales.
Loads of products have great reviews on Etsy, but only eye-catching ones will work for your dropshipping store. Keep that in mind!
If you had a store in the couple’s niche or the fitness niche, a product like this could be fantastic, even though it doesn’t have thousands of reviews.
The real trick is: finding products that are rare or striking and then finding the right audience for it.
This product can be targeted at people in relationships who also love staying fit! Make sure you understand your audience before you advertise.
While dropshipping food is generally met with a frown, if the product sells for you, there are always ways to make it work.
I have sold food products by purchasing some stock beforehand and storing it safely, all because I knew that I could sell it. Do what’s best for you, and when you find a product that gives you off-the-chart sales, you’ll find a way to make it work.
Very few dropshippers actually opt out of the AliExpress model, and this is where you can stand out. Platforms like Spocket can assist you with the automation, by getting your supplier and their products integrated into the system so that order processing gets easy for you.
Stop doing what everyone does, and step out of mediocrity. Sell high-quality products that your customers will love to buy!
You’re probably thinking...What is Marmalead anyway?
It’s an Etsy SEO and market research tool, which shows you all the data you need to know before you start selling Etsy products.
Useful data like:
What keywords should I use? Is this niche popular?
How much competition does this product get?
What’s the average shipping price for this niche?
Basically, all the questions you need answered before you finalize a niche and start selling products. It complements your Etsy research and will show you current trends that’ll help you make final decisions.
For example, right off the bat, you can see the most popular searches on Etsy for the past day, week and month:
From the popular searches, you can jump to a niche you really like and explore its statistics. For example, if I click on Wall Art, I can view the keywords, engagement, and competition for it:
It also shows you alternate long-tail keywords that people search for and their volume, which also helps you narrow down your niche.
Wood wall art seems to be a popular search in this niche—you can continue down the rabbit hole until
you find a product that you are excited to sell!
When I decided to open my store, this really helped me choose the pet niche, because I could see that it received a lot of engagement, and had potential.
I have also tried niches and products that don’t have much competition— simply because it means that niche has not been tapped into yet.
Marmalead is an excellent companion to your Etsy research and can help you judge whether a niche is worth getting into. It shows you exactly the price of the products from that category, so you know how much to list it for on your store.
In the next section, we will cover how to choose the best products using Facebook—stay seated, a couple of great tricks are coming your way!
What if I told you that you could skip the testing part of product selection for your store and move on to collecting the profits directly?
What if I told you that you could reap the benefits of your competitor’s efforts, completely ethically?
You wouldn’t believe me, would you?
Well, you can. By ‘spying’ on their ads and engagement!
Your competitors are experimenting with products and testing which one works, and by keeping an eye on their results, you can find a winning product without testing it yourself!
Let me show you how.
You will need to find competitors that you can take pointers from. Find competitors that know what they are doing and have the potential to be market leaders, not dropshippers using products from China. Find the bigger fish in the sea, and follow them.
Chances are, you’ll see an ad for their product within a day or two on Facebook or other social media.
You have to make sure you click on ads, click “like” on them, and show Facebook that you’re interested in the products. This way, you will receive more ads from your competitors.
Make sure you only click on the ads for your niche, and ads that are intriguing or funny, or you’ll end up getting a mish-mash of ads from all categories that’ll make a pickle out of your research.
For example, I got an ad for this product:
This product is the kind that draws attention to itself.
If a product is doing well and bringing sales in, it probably has high engagement. This ad has 1.9K reactions and 906 comments—which means it’s a solid winner.
The timestamps of the comments will show you how long it has been since the product ads launched! Sometimes, ads may not have great engagement just because they have been launched a day ago.
Adds that have over 5000 likes and 2000 comments might suggest that the product is oversaturated, so our lookout is for products that are quirky and a little popular.
Okay, a lot of people will tell you to copy what’s successful.
But I say: don’t copy blindly.
Ask yourself: How can I make this ad better? Can I improve the copy? The creatives? What kind of offer would be more exciting? Could I make a bundle out of it?
Don’t change the ad simply because you have to do it differently, think about improving it.
Check out their store, and think about how you can write the description better, how you can position the product to be more attractive to your audience.
Google wasn’t the first search engine. Facebook wasn’t the first social platform. These products became
successful because they had what the others lacked. They created a more appealing offer that people could not refuse and ultimately, won.
With Facebook, you can essentially find out all the ads the business is running and how they are performing.
Here’s how you do it:
First, click on the page that is advertising the product>>Head to Page Transparency>>Click on Go to Ad Library>>And voila!
You can see all the ads run by the page here:
However, if you want to see how the ads are performing, you can use a tool such as BigSpy or AdSpy, which will allow you to track the ad performance!
Simply type in the name of the page, for example: “Just a dog lover”, and you can see all the ads and the number of likes and comments on them:
Click on Track and you can see how the product fares over two weeks, which is the ideal time period to check how well a product performs in the market!
When you see a product consistently receiving likes and comments, you can be sure that it is a winner.
At this point, start searching for a supplier or get products made for you through print on demand!
You can use the same concept and add a splash of creativity to your product. For example, you can make this t-shirt with different breeds of dogs or animals like cats and pigs, and they’d still be a major hit.
You need to steadily track your competitors and find out how their products are doing, by creating a solid CSV file of them and tracking their progress.
This is a process that takes time and requires effort—in the end, dropshipping is all about persistence and research
In the next section, I will talk about how you can use Amazon to find the right product for your store and beat it at its own game.
Amazon can offer you your next big product.
No, really.
Amazon might be THE marketplace. But your store can still sell a product better than Amazon can. Your store has personality. You have a brand. With the right product, anything is possible.
How?
Here’s how!
You need to open Amazon and scroll in your niche till you find a product that is unordinary. For example, we will search the ‘dog’ niche!
You will find a lot of generic products: dog collars, kennels, brushes, caps, keychains, waste bags. People will not buy these from you unless they’re in- credibly spectacular. Keep scrolling.
Eventually, you will find something new. Something people may not have seen before. Incredibly simple, but different. Like a Dog Feeding Reminder.
A small, easy-to-use product that you haven’t seen before, but really solves the problem. We’ve all looked at those puppy dog eyes and doubted if we fed the dog today. This product is the reminder.
You need to check AliExpress to see if the product is sold on it—because if it is, it is probably much too saturated for you to try selling it. Loads of dropshippers are trying to get successful by selling the same AliExpress products--to be different (and provide better products to your customer), you need to ensure all your products cannot be sourced through AliExpress.
Luckily, this dog feeder is ultra-unique!
All you have to do next is: find out who the supplier is through Amazon, Google their website and then message them.
They might reject you—but good products are found only when you take the risk.
Check out BigSpy, find out if others are selling the product, and how your competitors are faring with it.
Keep in mind: Sometimes your competitors might fail because they did not advertise the product properly. However, It doesn’t mean you will fail too!
When you have built a relationship with the supplier, you will be able to offer the product at lower rates! Plus when it is such a novelty product, people will see you as an innovator, and choose you instantly.
This is the kind of product people buy directly from Facebook ads, and this is the kind of product you need to be going for.
A product that amazes you, that has a wow factor. A product that you wouldn’t think twice about.
Remember: Your marketing cannot save you from a terrible product, but, an amazing product with mediocre marketing can still bring you amazing results!
Choose wisely!
Purchases are mainly coming from Instagram and Google ads.
Campaign budget optimization’s with lookalike audiences & retargeting (Purchase, ATC, VC, Initiate Checkouts). Each CBO contains a maximum of 8 ad sets. Each CBO is priced at $50 - $60.
After trying many different hacks/strategies, this is the strategy giving us the best ROAS so far.
1 day click, Instagram feed + story.
Nothing crazy, just basics done well.
We are using Zipify pages for the best sellers as it clearly increased the conversion rate.
We’re experimenting with many other strategies on Snapchat and other platforms. However, this is not a dropshipping store. They are manufacturing their own products.
Do you know what’s awesome about this?
Their trademarked best seller cannot be found on Aliexpress or any other website. Therefore, they can carefully choose their retailers and not suffer from competition.
We’ve also been running Instagram ads to cold traffic for more than 6 months (and we still do) for the same product with great consistent results.
This is nearly impossible to achieve with Aliexpress products.
Product research is exhausting & time-consuming.
Moreover, product testing costs a lot of money. It also comes down to experience since every niche is different.
Finding the right suppliers is also crucial otherwise you might get scammed and lose a lot of money. Spocket & Marc F. Chapon worked on an exclusive partnership to solve these problems & make your life easier.
Dropshipping Elite Gold is Marc F. Chapon’s new exclusive group where he personally does the research and selects true potential winning products every day, just for you.
He does it following the exact same strategies he uses to find his 200K products
Moreover, you also get 1 on 1 messenger mentoring with Marc F. Chapon.
This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from Marc and scale your business with professional guidance and serenity.
You also get access to the case study/store and the possibility to sell their current winning products.
However we don’t want everyone to sell the same products / compete against each other.
Therefore, seats are limited.
Once the group reaches 100 members, we will no longer accept anyone.
