Welcome to the William Woods Honors program The Honors program at William Woods University fosters the growth of students who are dedicated, imaginative, and enthusiastic about making the most of their academic experience. They are excited about learning in a community of students who share their love of knowledge and drive for excellence.

Honors Hall Students live together in the Honors Hall in their first year. This creates a close-knit community of students with shared goals. We also invite Honors students to a special orientation session prior to move-in.

These experiences enhance the college experience by providing early opportunities to make friends, build relationships with mentors, and find your way.

Honors Award Honors program students are offered a $ 1000 scholarship.

Requirements and Application Process To be eligible for the Honors program, students must demonstrate a high GPA and provide an overview of their academic, co-curricular and extracurricular achievements. An essay is also typically required and is an opportunity to share more about who you are and your approach to learning.

Applications typically open in the fall of your senior year of high school and are due during your spring semester for the following fall.

Scholarship Honors program students are offered a $1000 scholarship. This scholarship may be in addition to other scholarship or aid offers depending on your unique offer. Ask your admissions counselor for details.

Additional merit scholarships may also be available.
