SUCCESSION

THE FRANK LLOYD Wrightdesigned Hollyhock House, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, presents its first “artist intervention,” Entanglements: Louise Bonnet and Adam Silverman at Hollyhock House. The showing, through May 27, features new work inspired by and “in dialogue with” the site. Bonnet is known for portraits with grotesque features and exaggerated proportions on canvas or paper, ceramicist Silverman for sculptural vessels and richly textured glazes. “With fused vessels and interwoven appendages,” says curator Abbey Chamberlain Brach, their work “resonates with the entanglements between Aline Barnsdall, her architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and the artists and architects who engaged with the house in the early 20th century.” 5905 Wilshire Blvd., L.A., 323.857.6000, lacma.org
