Sobriety House 2023 Recap Dear Staff Members, Board Members, Contractors, Donors, and Supporters of Sobriety House, Board of Trustees

The Leadership Team and I would like to provide you with a summary of the wonderful things you all have helped us achieve this past year, as well as a few things we have to look forward to in 2024. With an acknowledgment of some adversity and growing pains, we’ve endeavored to overcome these and have accomplished quite a lot.

Accomplishments in 2023 Program Enhancements Bill Dolan, former Executive Director, continuation of biofeedback as an evidence-based practice (EBP) and a unique complement to program, as well as providing clinical group supervision to teach REBT modality Addition of registered therapy rabbits to the program: Hazel and Dandelion

Operational Milestones Spanish translation of the Phase I manual completed and printed for our Spanish-speaking clients Successful donation campaigns totaling $34,594 Individual donations: $33,667 Kendra Scott event: $374 Colorado Gives Day: $553 Successful grant application awards totaling $347,919 Progress through Jay Voigt with Human Capital Consulting to notably improve various aspects of organizational management, and with significant efforts from Amber Walter and the leadership team: Hiring and onboarding process Leadership coaching HR processes and policies Restructuring/clarification of job roles and job descriptions Stoplight reporting Updating of various policies and procedures Client Satisfaction Surveys On a 5 point scale: Clients rated their individual counseling an average of 4.63 Clients rated their group counseling an average of 4.32 Clients rated the housing and accommodations an average of 4.39 (See client survey comments below)
