YEAR END CELEBRATIONS

On May 19 and 20, the Institute hosted its 2025 Year End Celebrations.

Olympia’s Leaders, OLAs, Alums, Institute Staff, and volunteers gathered in Orono and Portland to celebrate the graduating seniors and new members of our Alum network. Not only were there Alum volunteers but also Alum panelists!

NETWORKING WORKSHOP

On June 5, Alums and Leaders Network members gathered at L.L. Bean for an evening of networking and professional development, facilitated by capital H.!

Alums had an opportunity to learn about and practice leveraging their connections to further their personal and professional pursuits.

ALUM SPOTLIGHT

Sierra Galipeau graduated and joined the Alum Network in 2022. She i U i i f M i d d ember of its Ins 026.

"Throughout my years as an OL and an alum, one of the many things I learned is to not be afraid to reach out and make connections! Whether I am in my hometown or at college, the Institute makes it easy to create a network to reach out to for support or just a friendly chat. I am thankful that I am able to continue being a part of the Institute as an Alum, and I look forward to making more meaningful connections, learning new skills, and supporting other OLs and Alums in the future."

ALUMS ON STAFF

There are now two Alums who work for the Institute!

RJ Reboquio

RJ is a Class of 2019 Alum from Lewiston High School. She is currently the Alum Relations and Data Specialist for the Institute.

“It’s been a full-circle moment and such an honor to give back to the community that supported me. Being on the other side now, working with the small but mighty team that makes all the magic happen—like help planning the events I loved in high school has been so meaningful and so much fun. It was through the Institute that I discovered my core value of service, so getting to support other Olympia’s Leaders across the state as they go through the same journey (and beyond as Alums) truly feeds my soul.”

Tessa is a Class of 2019 Alum from Houlton High School and the current Development Specialist at the Institute.

“It makes me appreciate even more the value this program brings to our Olympias Leaders, our Alum, our communities, and our state as a whole. It’s easy going to work everyday and speaking or writing about the Institute because it really did change my life for the better. I truly feel like I’m working and growing with family and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support throughout the years as I’ve grown into the person I am today.”
