Artists Jaap Snijder and Marcelo Gimenes specialize in hand-painted wallpaper designs and colorful wallpaper patterns. Their iconic wallpapers are completely handmade and are based on nature. Each wallpaper is unique and carefully made with a lot of patience and passion. They paint mainly flowers, plants and birds. This way they create a beautiful gardens on paper.
Snijder&CO is mostly inspired by European nature. Unlike Chinoiserie, their hand-painted wallpaper is a contemporary version of this historic predecessor. A new style they call "Dutchoiserie".
The wallpaper is made with pigmented paints and non-woven wallpaper. It is a Dutch original quality product.
In collaboration with designers and photographers, the wallpaper is also used for lighting, furniture, photography and art.
