R E S I D E N C E
Deconstructive House, Semester 03
A design inspired from the master architect Frank Gehry. The house describes Gehry’s main concept of deconstructivism with respect to the site context. The design brief of the project states that the house was to be built for the family of 6 where Mr Adikari was an architect and his wife was a British citizen and his father was differently able. So the house was designed taking into consideration the requirement.

Location: Budhalinkantha, Kathmandu
Site Area: 6826.02 sq.ft
Reassessing the Master Architect,Frank Gehry. The site was located at Budhalinkantha outskrit of the main city of the kathmandu. The place was a bit cold than the main city.
According to project brief the requirement for the project was one puja room, ramp, and an art studio.
The site Zoning was done looking at the Gehry’s concept in residence where building act as a buffer. Hence the building is diving the public outdoor that is parking spaces and private outdoor that is the puja room, pool spaces. And the entry was oblique
The massing was done by dividing into 3 generation : grandparents, children and parents. The mass was distored and rotated as the Gehry’s main concept of deconstructivism.
Gehry provided ample amout of light in the building so looking at it I created some projected and big windows. The Living room was connnected to outdoor providing a peace space. And the kitchen was attached to the living room .

Open Door Pre-Primary School, Semester 04
The concept of my school was to create a social interaction space with certain consideration. The consideration was anti-bullying spaces with connection between introverts and extroverts. For this concept a lot of aspects were to be visualized. Since, for the introverts to be connected with extroverts there needed a strong visual, mental, emotional connection between them. And since the introverts who prefer to remain silent are normally bullied by the extroverts for that reason it was necessary to create a common space for the both.

The main concept of the project was a social Interaction Space. For the concept I created a circular courtyard from where every corner could be visible. With the open ground plan the spaces were easily visible. The building has a circular plan to avoid the corner and the spaces which would create visual access and could avoid bullying. From the site the aspect of the sound was one of the major problems. Hence in the zone where sound should be prohibited I.e. The academic zone was set on the North side with parkings open fields and administration created a barrier to it. In the landscape for the anti bully there was crested visibility from each corner. Sitting spaces under the trees were created viewing the play space so that there is a visual connection between introverts and extroverts.

Joint Factory, Semester 06
The design build for the connection between the customer, factory and the workers. It was designed taking in consideration the workers and customers. There was a connection created between them through the visual. The design had a central courtyard as a common space and for the visual connection. The blocks are connected through the covered walkway. It was also designed looking at the site context where the site was on the residential zone.

GROUND FLOOR PLAN
The design of the factory was done looking at the present situation of our factory. The maximum user of the factory i.e. workers are not properly provided with the facility.So, the design provides a proper space for the workers. Even the customers who are willing to look the factory space have a proper space.
The site zoning was done looking at the site context where required buffering is done. The central courtyard provides the visual connection between the workers and customers. Even the manufacture unit was given a panaromic view for the visual connection of the building. The windows are kept minimal and according to the function. The windows are recessed for the minimal glare of the sunlight and required light and ventilation.
