How to create visually captivating exhibitions that offer an engaging and transformative exper ence for visitors
We want to re-align people’s perspective about exhibitions by designing a virtual space where we maintain the essence of a physical one yet providing them an experience which is more than just a display using display of work. We are redefining the structure of the building into a Rubik’s Cube. The layers in a cube will be divided into different levels representing different departments at IIAD i.e IAD, CD, FD and FBM.
This project aims to understand the importance of heritage monuments, identify their potential and target audience, and develop design interventions to engage people with these monuments. By enhancing the beauty of the pillar's base and creating captivating shadow play at night, we aim to go beyond visual appreciation and create meaningful experiences around the monuments.

The Secret Garden, which, as its title indicates, is both incredibly secluded and hidden and, as a result, doesn’t get as much attention or footfall as it should. Therefore, because of the less footfall and human interaction, a lot of birds like peacock and kingfishers exist there. This area also comes under the micro habitat zone. I wanted to design something that would preserve the area’s seclusion and the presence of birds while also bringing attention to this beautiful location.
To boost human interaction with wildlife, I rebranded Secret Garden and introduced an open bird aviary. The aim was to raise awareness about the national bird, the peacock. I created an entertaining zone called Bird Chess, away from the pavilion to increase footfall and minimise disturbance to the birds. Additionally, I included a waiting area and bird information section inside the monument for birdwatchers to wait until the birds arrived.
The Pink Toilet initiative is a project aimed at uplifting the living standards of the user group by providing access to basic sanitation facilities. The objective is to create spaces that go beyond being "just" toilets, but also serve as safe and empowering environments for women who venture out of their homes. Through this project, we aim to contribute to the well-being and dignity of individuals in the community.
PROJECTTYPE:Social innovation
public toilet project
SITELOCATION:Vasant vihar, New Delhi
INITIATIVEBY: DIRECTION:
How to create safe and empowering spaces for women wh e addressing community sanitation needs?
This Pink Toilet is located in Vasant Vihar, Delhi. The Toilet's entrance is in the North direction with a 1000mm wide footpath in front and a police booth beside it. An aluminium fibre sheet is running throughout the perimeter of the toilet of which the billboards are placed. The site is approximately 17000 mm in length and 2500 mm in width
The context and orientation is such that there is a lot of hinderance to daylight. Due to the trees over head and the bill boards in the front, there isn’t much day light to come in.
The skylight, entrance and the door for ventilation allows some light to enter.
Taking inspiration from the existing color scheme. Creates a contrast, eye movement and balance throughout.
