When I began practicing dentistry in 1980, I found myself spending 55 hours a week on patient care and an additional 30 hours a week seeking out business and clinical knowledge for how things worked in the real world. As I continued to pursue my passion for dentistry, I knew there had to be a better way and I am excited to share more as you explore opportunities for the next step in your dental career.
I founded Heartland Dental in 1997 with the commitment to helping dental professionals find a better, more rewarding, and healthier work-life balance Today, Heartland Dental provides an array of non-clinical administrative support to more than 2,400 dentists in more than 1,600 supported offices – and those numbers are continuing to grow.
This is a pivotal moment as you launch your dental career, shifting from student to provider Transitioning into your first practice and getting started as a practitioner comes with its challenges, and you don’t have to do it alone Heartland Dental supports dentists at all stages of their dental career lifecycle to help them create the career of their dreams
Many things set Heartland Dental apart First and foremost, we are doctor-led culture and support model, meaning that Heartland supported doctors maintain complete clinical independence and are the leaders in their practice Heartland exists to support doctors and their teams We have worked long and hard to understand at a mastery level “how things work” in a dental practice and how to assist doctors and their teams to achieve their personal and professional goals
We also recognize the importance of consistently growing as a practitioner and a leader In addition to world-class CE offerings, supported doctors gain access to a community of colleagues for mentorship and support Further, Heartland’s Doctor Mastery Program opportunity provides a clear pathway to gain leadership skills while learning the business of dentistry Participating doctors achieve Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and opportunity for a $250,000 bonus
Our mission is very clear We support doctors and their teams as they continue to do what they do well By utilizing our non-clinical administrative support and keeping full autonomy within their offices supported doctors can focus on their patients and grow their passion for dentistry
If you have questions, I encourage you to speak with a Recruiter
We are ready to serve as your guide and help you make the best decision that’s right for you and your unique situation
