Hello! My name is Snærún and I’m an artist from Iceland, i’ve been studying graphic design for the last three years and hope to one day become an illustraitor. My art style is very sketch-y and realistic, it consists of a lot of sharp lines.
I like drawing bugs, animals, bodies and bones, I’m working on learning to draw detailed realistic faces. My favorite art style is the one from vintage childrens books and I am currently working on learning how to draw in that style

This assignment was made during my stay as an exchange student in Italy. The purpose of the assignment was create branding items for a fake travel office; Make a3 poster, a6 postcard, logo and an a5 brochure/booklet about places to visit in Barcelona

Students in my class went to Barcelona on a school trip before I arrived, to take pictures and gather information, since I had no photos I had to draw them myself and gather information via source

Sagrada familia was designed by the Catalonian artist Antoni Gaudi. Gaudi died in 1926 when he fell under a tram, just a few years after the construction started, for that reason he was never able to see the finished product of his masterpiece.
The church is still under construction though and is expected to be finished in 2026. The church is so great in design that it constantly needs to be fixed up around the older parts of the church. It is safe to say the church is an eternal mission for Barcelona.
Among other buildings by Gaudi there are Casa Batllo and La Pedrera-Casa Mila.
There is also Gaudi’s park or Park Guell, which is also a big identifying part of Barcelona
If you like art but still want to get some shopping done it is a must to walk through the main shopping street of Barcelona which is called Passeig de Gracia. If you look closely you might be able to see on that street old street lamps designed in the spirit of Gaudi, which bring a special atmosphere into the walk. And if you look down you can see that the street is laid hexagonal tiles, where the pattern of the tiles match each to one another. In these tiles you can also see a pattern which is one third cruciferous fish, third ammonites and then a third algae.
If you want to emmerse yourself even further in the architecture of Barcelone it is a must to walk the Gothic quarter or Barri Gotico. there you can find tight walkways lined with all kinds of small boutiques that sell all different types of products, clothes, art, food and much more
Barcelona is most famous for it’s outstanding architecture made by Antoni Gaudi and if there are any must see places to see when visiting Barcelona it’s them here is a list of the top ones
