*CALL TO WORSHIP
One: Come, beloved of God, for the One who came down from heaven has lifted us in love.
All: We gather to remember the gift: God did not send the Son to condemn, but to heal, save, and renew.
One: As Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness, so Christ is lifted a sign of mercy, and a beacon of grace
All: We look to the cross and see compassion. We look to the world and seek justice. We look to each other and find community.
One: Let us worship the God whose love is deeper than judgment, wider than fear, stronger than death
All: We come with open hands and hearts, to be lifted in love. Let us worship the Lord.

Lift High the Cross
*Please stand as you are willing and able.
*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
One: Let us say what we believe: All: We believe in God, Creator of all peoples and nations, who made the earth a home for all, and calls us to love our neighbor especially the stranger.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, our Savior; who was born into poverty, fled violence as a refugee, and lived among the outcast and the forgotten. He was crucified, died, and was buried bearing the weight of sin and injustice. On the third day, he rose again, defeating death and fear, and opening the way of life for all.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, Among us and within us, who speaks in every language, moves across every border, and stirs the Church to be a sanctuary of justice, compassion, and peace.
We believe that the Church, the body of Christ in the world, is called to welcome the immigrant, to shelter the refugee, to stand with the oppressed, and to proclaim the reign of God where all are beloved and none are forgotten
We believe in the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. This is what we believe. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
