If you’re eager for the on-campus college experience, looking for a blend of in-person and remote learning, or interested in earning a degree from anywhere. We have the flexibility, affordability, and opportunity at SMSU! Online, on-campus, or hybrid, we have programs available in a variety of learning formats. A degree really is within your reach. For new students and transfers, SMSU can work with you to find a program and format that fits your needs, your learning style, and your life.

We also offer degrees that build on your two-year degree toward a bachelor’s degree, including the RN to BSN Program that allows registered nurses to study while working full-time to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

INVESTMENT. Capitalize on value. With one of the most robust scholarship offerings of peer institutions, most SMSU students receive financial assistance. The average financial aid package is $10,334. With banded tuition, credits between 12-18 cost the same, so your tuition doesn’t change.

With just a few exceptions, nearly everyone at SMSU qualifies for in-state tuition, so if you’re from out of state or even another country, you’re a winner when it comes to the cost of your college education. Additional scholarship opportunities help lower the price even further. It’s true that college is an investment, but it doesn’t have to be an extravagant one at SMSU.
