What if in SPEAKING the unspoken

We could make the invisible, Envisioned?

WHAT IF WE BROKE

because

I Couldn’t Hear— invisible disabilities WITHOUT seeing— a Black male ABA therapist

Back on pavement, hands in sky pleading for Badged Gunmen to not harm his

27 year old Eloping patient For holding a toy truck

—could not See —without hearing

Elijah Mcclain’s last words and so could not leave learning objectives unracialized , as Dr. West would say, uncomplicated by the messy realities of complexity.

And I couldn’t think about

disability and race and NOT hear Dr. Crenshaw problematizing the absence in a

became 3 individual and 4 intersecting ones and 30 sources became over 100 prevalence & peer victimization & prevention became my native tongue sleep eluded and sunrises and sunsets circled, unnoticed

I GOT SWEPT UP

OF LEARNER EXPERIENCE DESIGN BEGAN TO SLOW BROADENING TOWARD THE HORIZON OF TOMORROWS AND I CRAWLED TO THE SHORE SPITTING SILT AND CITATIONS AND TOOK A BREATH AND ANOTHER AND REMEMBERED THIS HAS NO END BUT FLOWS INTO A SEA OF COMPLEXITY
