Pre-Storm Checklist

1. Activate this checklist once a storm has been announced, and at thedirectionofCompanyManagement.

2. All removable outside banners, signs and merchandise are to be moved inside the store and any trash is to be cleaned up so it doesn’t become a projectile during the storm. If possible, take down signs that refertoGUNS.

Practice And Procedure

• At the beginning of the hurricane season, Area Managers will have a call or meeting with their respective stores to discuss the work plan put forth in thispolicy.

•Whenannouncingthatatropicalstormorahurricane event is approaching, the Area Managers will be activating the preparation protocol, executing the attached checklists to ensure all stores and employees arepreparedforthestorm.

• If necessary, company management will be communicating to the stores and all store personnel when the stores will be closing, taking as a priority the safetyofallouremployeesandthecompany’sstores.

• The current labor laws will be considered as a guide for the corresponding payroll payments to all employees while the stores are unable to operate in theirnormalhours.

• Discuss with your Area Managers the cash amounts thatwillbeleftinthestorebeforetheevent.

•Pleasereviewthebelowchecklistsandproceduresto ensure that you, your store and your teams are properlypreparedtoweatherthestorm

3. Ensure that the week’s payroll is 100% completed before leaving the store for the storm. The company will be sending out instructions to everyone as to how to handle scheduled hours for anticipated days to bemissedduetothestorm).Thiswillhelpensurepayrollisdoneandall employeestakencareof.

4. Place the entire contents of the jewelry cases inside the store safe. If there is space, do the same with small electronics and items of high value,includingGUNS.

5. Place tarps or plastic sheets over all computer terminals and the servers, as well as the store’s sensitive merchandise (electronics, for example),especiallyloanitems.

6. Whenever possible, place higher value items off the floor to protect from flooding. 7. Start and test generators. Have 10 gallons of gas in the store for the generator. (Your Area Managers will be in touch about how to secure and operate your generator safely when we reopen after the storm).

8. Check your stock level on generators and chain saws, as those 2 will be in HEAVY DEMAND following a storm. Start them to make sure they will work. You may need to buy starter fluid if the engines are carburetedtohelpgetthemgoing.

9. Other items to ideally keep in stock are water bottles, batteries, inverters, extension cords, flashlights, USB power banks, and unlocked cellphones.

10. Sandbags should be placed at the bottom of all exterior doors or bottomofshuttersifyouhavethemtosecureyourdoorstohelpcontrol flooding.

11. Make sure that when you close the store, you LOCK the safes and spinthedials. DONOTSIMPLY“DAYLOCK”THESAFE!

12. Contact the Company’s IT department to let them know you are done in the system so they can do a soft shutdown of the server on the storesidetosaveyourdata.

13. Take pictures of your store (outside, inside) after all preparations are completeandsendtoyourAMtoverifythestoreis“StormReady”.

14.Adviseallemployeestofilltheircars’fueltankspriortothestorm.

15. Determine a backup meeting point and time after the all clear is given post storm in the case where cell service and power may not be available. Typically, the store is the best meeting point. Make sure to allowenoughtimepoststormfortheteamtotravelandarrive safelytothestorelocation.
