Ben and Jerry’s Media Advisory For Immediate Release Sept. 17, 2019 Ben and Jerry’s schedules news conference to announce new ice cream flavor in support of Doctors Without Borders What:
At 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20, in the MediaCone at Ben and Jerry’s headquarters, Ben and Jerry’s CEO, Matthew McCarthy, will announce the company’s newest flavor of ice cream, Chocolate Chip Rescue. Proceeds from sale of this flavor will go towards supporting Doctors Without Borders’ medical aid efforts around the globe.
Who:
McCarthy will make an announcement of the new flavor and the fundraiser taking place the following day. He will take questions. Representatives from Doctors Without Borders will also attend and be available to answer questions about the nonprofit and its work. A printed version of the announcement and background information about Doctors Without Borders will be distributed to press members at the news conference. After the event, the information will be posted online to Ben and Jerry’s website.
Where:
Ben and Jerry’s headquarters are located at 30 Community Drive, South Burlington, Vermont. The MediaCone is Room 105.
When:
The news conference will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20, and will last approximately 45 minutes.
