I still remember the day me and my partner Cherian Mathew meeting with Vice President of RE/MAX International Larry Oberly and Sam Chopra for a discussion before signing the document for RE/MAX Regional franchisee. When I came for the first time in Hyderabad and started looking to open office, people said it won't last for a year or so...One year passed then two...We sold offices, recruited associates, did transactions. It has been a challenging journey throughout, now since last one year with inclusion of more partners in regional level, I am confident that we are going to grow financially and of course with brand signs. RE/MAX International and Dave linger has been showing the way by achieving milestones from time to time. It gives us confidence and challenge to strive for more. Anand Choksi achieving the Global Broker Office Owner award shows the way that India is ready to compete with anyone on the global platform where still real estate is not so organised industry. We have set up regional offices and service centres in secunderabad, jubilee hills, Karimnagar, Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada to cater to all customers, investors and developers. RE/MAX INTERNATIONAL NEWS Annual Industry Rank Liniger as Powerful Influencer Back in the role of CEO, Dave Liniger is named by industry insiders as an exceptional leader, recognized by the Swanepoel Power 200(SP200) and Inman’s list of 33 People Who are Changing the Real Estate Industry. Both sources cite Liniger’s impressive impact on the real estate industry over decades, paying respect to the man who unquestionably revolutionized the industry and acknowledging Liniger’s unprecedented tenacity during the 42-year history of the RE/MAX organization. This year Liniger makes a much more exclusive list of influencers and is among a mix of tech giants, franchisors and powerful brokers, demonstrating his significant standing in any crowd.

RE/MAX Japan Celebrates 2 Major Milestones Master franchise RE/MAX Japan has many reasons to celebrate so early in the New Year, as it has opened its first office franchise, RE/MAX Properties Interface, in Tokyo, and also sold its first regional franchise, RE/MAX OSAKA, which includes Japan’s third largest city. Regional franchise RE/MAX OSAKA was sold to I2M Co. and began operations in January. The regional owners are planning to grow its operations by creating an effective team and open eight offices in its first year. With the second largest economic base in Japan, Osaka is ideal for expansion of RE/MAX Japan because of increasing interest by foreign investors. Recent industry data indicates that the area’s real estate market has significantly improved over the past two years. According to a recent report by the Urban Land Institute and PwC, Osaka was ranked as the 3 rd most attractive real estate investment market in the Asia-Pacific region.

RE/MAX R4 2015 – A Global Convention for Global Affiliates Once again R4 provided an unbelievably incredible amount of business changing information stage. It was indeed a great time with family, friends and associates. Spirit of RE/MAX R4 was at opening session with Dave Liniger and his wife. The two-hour Opening Session – which featured the insights of several RE/MAX leaders, nearly a dozen Affiliates and special guest Brian Buffini – was a rousing welcome to the nearly 6,000 entrepreneurs investing in their business and professional development. The crowd included Affiliates from over 50 countries. The session with great renowned speakers provided great information like- Mitch Albom, Kevin Carroll, Shawn Achor, Peyton Manning, Darren Hardy and Steven Tyler

Addressing the gathering the Co-founder Dave Liniger announced that the company continues to grow by all significant measurements. The audience was excited to hear the details of the network’s 2014 achievements as compared to the prior year: - Worldwide agent count grew by 5.1% to 98,010 - Agent count in the U.S. increased by 4.8% to 57,105 - The total number of RE/MAX offices grew to 6,751, an increase of 4.2% - Transaction sides rose to more than 1.4 million across the entire network With a presence in over 95 countries, no other real estate brand matches our global footprint. RE/MAX added to its country count in 2014 by selling the Master Franchise rights to another five countries. It remains true that nobody in the world sells more real estate than RE/MAX.

More than 6,000 agents from around the world took the stage at the annual R4 Best of RE/MAX Awards Night in Las Vegas to get recognized and applauded by family, friends and colleagues for their 2014 achievements. It was a remarkable night honoring truly remarkable entrepreneurs.

SOME REALTY TIPS & BITES – Pest Controlling – Keep Your Home Pest free Pest control is very important in every home and other densely populated building. Household pests usually include rats, termites, moles, house mice and ants. Like any other living being, pests tend to move to a place where they can survive and their needs are met. Pests are likely to be attracted to warm spaces and usually seek water in your house. Pest problems, if left unchecked, can spread to neighboring houses. Rather than detecting and handling the pest problem every time it arises, the better strategy is the prevention. Tips for preventing pests in your home: Clean and well maintained apartment Take a walk through your house and ensure that your home is not offering loose points to attract pests. Clean your home at regular intervals and avoid storing newspapers, paper bags, and boxes for long periods. Also, check for pests in packages or boxes before carrying them into your home. Screening window and doors with curtains Screening windows and doors with curtains and nets helps to keep insects out of your home. Caulking crack in your kitchen or bathroom doors and windows help to minimize the shelter of pests in your home. Make sure passageways through the floor are blocked. Keep doors of unused room shut. Caulk and seal openings in walls.

Most pests thrive in a filthy environment and sweep away spilled foods in your house. Ensure that you do not have any fallen stacks of unused papers as they appear inviting to most household pests.
