SANTA MONICA COURTHOUSE Actress Lindsay Lohan was slapped with a lawsuit on Tuesday by a woman involved in the starlet’s drunken car pursuit three weeks ago in Santa Monica. In a seven-page document filed in Santa Monica Courthouse, Tracie Rice — who was riding in the vehicle allegedly chased by the actress and her entourage — accuses Lohan of assault and negligence, claiming the “Mean Girls” star intended to inflict emotional harm in the July 24 incident. Lohan was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended/revoked license and possession of a controlled substance after Santa Monica Police officers received a call from a distressed woman who said she was being chased by an SUV. LOHAN Fresh out of rehab at the time, Lohan was driving the SUV that allegedly pursued a 2007 Cadillac Escalade, driven by the mother of her former personal assistant, Michelle Peck, of Santa Monica. A call to Lohan’s attorney was not returned on Tuesday. The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount of damages. “At this point, we don’t know the full extent of damages,” said Paul Hoffman, Rice’s attorney. “It’s still early ... until we know how long this will have an impact on Tracie.” Rice resides in Los Angeles County, but not in Santa Monica, according to Hoffman, declining to identify his client’s city of residence.
