MAIN STREET If you’re a guy having trouble meeting women in Santa Monica, don’t sweat it. There’s plenty of ’em out there — good ones, too. You just have to be willing to pay, and pay big. No, I’m not talking about making a trip to a local mas-

The building’s owner is planning to replace it with an environmentally friendly, 14-unit mixed use development. It was an emotional meeting on Monday, filled with pleas from advocates to save the Ocean Park neighborhood, a neighborhood that has seen many changes in the past decade SEE HORIZONS PAGE 7
While free-form mingling is more my style, I couldn’t resist a coworker’s offer to peek into the world of speed dating. If you’re not motivated enough to meet people on your own, a night of structured speed dating for $37 is a viable option. Some people Christine Chang news@smdp.com
