MALIBU HIGH SCHOOL A popular video Web site has become cause for alarm here, with administrators increasingly concerned about the presence of posted videos that poke fun at teachers, students and depict risky behavior on school grounds.

For the past few months, unauthorized footage of Malibu High School has appeared on YouTube, a Web site that allows users to post videos as long as they don’t violate copyright agreements. In the beginning, the content was innocent, with students posting funny videos of their friends as a playful joke, said Senior Sarah Paxton on Friday. “Some of the people posted videos of

themselves just because it was funny,” the ASB Treasurer said. In time, things got a little out of hand. Videos of classroom sessions, highlighting blunders by teachers and their attempts to make jokes, began popping up, obvious attempts to make teachers look foolish. Other clips showed footage of students running amok on campus, jumping off the roof of the building, performing acrobatic

moves off of tables, and literally running up and off the walls. “It must’ve been on the weekend or after hours,” Principal Mark Kelly said on Friday.
