Introducing TPAT Character award
The Park Academies Trust is delighted to introduce you to the TPAT Character award. Our Trust’s vision is underpinned by four core values: Ambition, Courage, Respect and Integrity. By developing these characteristics, it will help to shape and prepare you for the future . By actively taking part in the TPAT Character Award it will develop you personally, emotionally, socially and physically and will further enhance your lives to be healthy, safe and fulfilled. William Shakespeare said “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve. Keep your dreams alive”. TPAT Character awards provides a platform for your personal development and opportunities to enhance your life.
So what do you do?
Read this booklet and identify the challenges you think you can complete. There are three Character award levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold. At each level you will have to complete a series of challenges, record your experiences and provide written evidence of what you have completed to go towards each chosen challenge. You must complete Bronze, followed by Silver and then ultimately Gold.
Centered around TPAT core values, each challenge offers you the opportunity to develop one of the character traits and demonstrate your progress and success. If you manage to complete the Bronze, Silver or Gold award you will be recognised and rewarded for your dedication and hard work to the award. We hope that you embrace this opportunity and take the leap to step out of your comfort zone and strive for self improvement.
