Introduction
Introducing TPAT Primary Pledge
The Park Academies Trust is delighted to introduce you to the TPAT Primary Pledge. Our Trust’s vision is underpinned by four core values of Ambition, Courage, Respect and Integrity. By developing these characteristics, it will help to shape and prepare children for the future . By actively taking part in the TPAT Primary Pledge it will develop children personally, emotionally, socially and physically and will further enhance their lives to be healthy, safe and fulfilled.
William Shakespeare said, “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve. Keep your dreams alive”. TPAT Primary Pledge provides a platform for personal development and opportunities to enhance our childrens’ lives.

How Does it Work?
This pledge is to every child. This is the enrichment journey that TPAT schools will provide to ensure opportunities for developing skills and experiences that will help us grow and achieve.
Each school will choose six activities for each year group. These will be displayed on classroom posters. Activities for each year group will include at least one activity under each of the values.
Where possible, activities will match to the curriculum and activities that are already planned. Some may require additional curriculum time. As children move up through the school, the enrichment activities become more demanding.
These activities are in addition to a wealth of extra curricula opportunities and curriculum enhancements such as trips, residentials, clubs, competitions and sports events. We seek to deliver specific opportunities we believe every child should be given at an early age to develop character, confidence and a range of core skills.
