What Does the Alexa Yellow Ring Signify?

There may be two types of yellow light appearing on your Echo

A Spinning yellow ring

A Pulsing or Blinking yellow Light

You'll notice a spinning yellow light whenever your Echo attempts to connect to the Internet.

A pulsing Alexa yellow ring is an inbox indicator. You will get notifications about the new messages in your inbox by the yellow light. A yellow flashing light lets you know if you have missed a reminder or if Alexa has a notification for you.

Yellow Ring on Alexa: How to dismiss it for Shopping Notifications?

Launch the Alexa Setup app on your phone to turn off the notifications from Amazon. In the Settings menu, scroll to the Notifications and select the Amazon Shopping option.

You can disable the ‘Out for Delivery’ And Delivered notifications. This way, toggle off the notification for shopping here.
