BUILDING SKILLS, Strengthening Teams
September was a big month for Smart City Networks, with two important gatherings taking place in Las Vegas. The week began with our Midyear Review , where the executive team met at our corporate office to look back on the progress we have made this year and outline goals for the months ahead. These conversations set the stage for the continued growth of our company and reaffirmed our focus on supporting both our venues and our people.
The second half of the week shifted to Managers’ Training , which brought together team members from across the country. Representatives from San Diego, Indianapolis, Phoenix, San Antonio, Houston, Charlotte, and Orlando spent three days working closely with every department. The training sessions gave them the chance to build new skills, share ideas, and learn best practices that they can take back to their local centers. It was also an opportunity to connect with peers, strengthen relationships, and see firsthand how much knowledge and talent exists across our company.
Team members included Alexis Medina, Ben Behnkendorf, Ben Kenaga, Chloe Cervera, David Daumit, Jesse Macias, Jomari Paguia, Karl Seeba, Katie Short, Mitch Hughes, and Steven Sepulveda. Their energy and participation made the week a success and showed the value of investing in our people.
A special thank you goes out to all the participants, the trainers who delivered such impactful presentations, and our corporate admin team for coordinating the travel, meals, and accommodations that made the week possible. The joint efforts of the entire Smart City team turned this gathering into a true success.
By combining review, training, and collaboration, this week in Las Vegas was all about preparing for the future while giving our managers the tools they need to succeed today. We are excited to see what comes next!
