HAWAI'I CONVENTION CENTER
Made in Hawai'i Festival Showcases Local Innovation
The Made in Hawai‘i Festival returned to the Hawai‘i Convention Center this year, continuing its three-decade tradition of showcasing locally made products and driving major economic impact for the state. Produced by the Hawai‘i Food Industry Association, the festival once again served as a vital platform for small businesses, giving them the chance to market directly to buyers, connect with consumers, and test new products in a thriving marketplace.
With more than 70,000 attendees and over 700 local businesses participating, the festival generated well over $10 million for the local economy. That kind of scale required reliable technology services to keep vendors, buyers, and organizers connected at every stage.
Thanks to recent major network upgrades at the Hawai‘i Convention Center, Smart City Networks delivered dependable support. The Hawai‘i team made certain that exhibitors had the bandwidth needed for transactions and demonstrations, while attendees experienced smooth, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the event. Connectivity played an essential role in the festival’s success.
The Smart City Hawai‘i team exemplified how technology and teamwork powered an event that matters deeply to the community, keeping the spirit of the islands connected and growing stronger.
