How to install a Front spoiler led for Smart Fortwo w451

INSTALLATION MANUAL: Front Spoiler with integrated DRL for Smart Fortwo W451 All work should be performed with the utmost care to avoid damage.

Please check that the parts listed are complete before starting work.

For the painting of the front spoiler no specific instructions have to be followed.

INSTALLATION MANUAL: Front Spoiler with integrated DRL for Smart Fortwo W451 Instructions: 1. Remove the original front spoiler: a.) Unfasten the front spoiler with the screws at positions 1 and 2 (see Fig. 2) b.) Unclip the fastening buttons 1 to 6 on the front spoiler (see Fig. 3) c.) Pull the front spoiler away to the outside d.) Remove the plastic cover of the fog lamp.

2. Remove a fitting portion of the underbody protection about of 4 cm. whole by cutting it out (see Fig. 4)

4. Mount the new frontspoiler: a) Insert the front spoiler b) Clip in the fastening buttons 1 to 6 on the front spoiler (see Fig. 3) c) Instructions installing of DRL: • We attach the harness and run the cables individually carefully into the interior of the car, through the rubber seal (see photo 7) by opening a hole.

• We unscrew the insurance box (SAM) and we connect the red connector with the gray/green cable (see photo 9).

• After that we connect the pink connector with the yellow cable and then connect with the red connector.

We screw the insurance box (SAM) again.

• We connect the supplied PIN with the white cable and we tuck in the fuse box. Then we tuck the fuse box in positions place 1 to 4 (see photo 8) and then we put the fuse to the fuse box.

• We screw the black cable to a screw which is at driver‘ s ground floor at the left side, almost under the fuse box.

• Finally we close the plug of the daytime running lights. d) Screw the front spoiler with the two metal brackets the six screws and two rosettes supplied at positions 1 and 2 (see Fig. 6) f) Press the plastic cover of the fog lamp backward.
