The ghost inside my head urges me on a journey through space and time, among musical animals, wizards, lizards and distant planets. There will even be a visit down to the mermaid in the depths of the ocean. Book of Nonsense is a playful collaboration between pictures and words. The pictures were painted first, and together with the author they helped creating the story you are about to read. Göran Holmqvist was born in 1965 and has previously written books for adults as well as for children – Herr Kåkning och Tvärtomaten, Trubadurens Röst, En Drottnings Önskan, to name a few. He is also an artist and a musician.
Spöket inuti mitt huvud manar mig ut på en resa i tid och rum, bland musikaliska djur, trollkarlar, ödlor och avlägsna planeter. Det blir till och med ett besök hos sjöjungfrun långt nere i havsdjupen. Book of Nonsense är ett lekfullt samarbete mellan bilder och ord. Målningarna kom till först och tillsammans med författaren hjälpte de till att skapa historien du strax ska läsa. Göran Holmqvist är född 1965 och har tidigare skrivit böcker för både barn och vuxna – Herr Kåkning och Tvärtomaten, Trubadurens Röst, En Drottnings Önskan med flera. Göran är också verksam som bildkonstnär, musiker och låtskrivare och har givit ut skivor med flera olika band.
