Introduction.

The book you’re holding in your hand took longer to write than the first, Homo Satanis: How I Learned to Love Satan and other Insights from my Childhood, and is packed with a more defined view of my philosophy, insights and experiences. I’ve learned a lot since the last, and I’ve tried to be more to the point this time.

You will find less - but it’s not without it biographical elements, and to some degrees maybe a harsher tone. But my attitude stay strong: individualism should be about happiness and not self-pitying and whining and my Satanism is still the same; cheerful and optimistic.

Some of the texts are born from discussions and posts on Twitter, Patreon, the official Homo Satanis Facebook page - but most it is written directly for this book.

The devil is a myth, a hellish fairy tale figure created scare those who can’t deal with their

existence, but to me his presence as symbol of independence, freedom, self-respect and individualism is as strong as ever. Yeah, the devil made me do it - and I will continue to do so as long as I live.

The Devil Made Me Do It.

If the sin is endorsed by the devil, then the devil made me do it. What’s more fun; go to church and listen to a boring sermon about eternal life after death or living life to the fullest, experiencing and learning from every source possible before death?

I know what I choose.

A friend of the family, a very Christian woman, was afraid of words including the word devil, like Devilfish or Daredevil. Imagine living in a fear for an imaginary being like that? Imagine setting up your life to please the great almighty someone up here?

Just imagine!

I don’t blame Christianity for everything, there’s other religions also that should take responsibility for the damage they've done instead of blaming it on either Satan’s shenanigans or saying it’s the will of god.

I don’t blame anyone actually. I don’t blame. It’s that simple.

Most adults have the intelligence to make decisions, and in one way or another that responsibility lays in their own hands. I’m aware everyone comes from different backgrounds, but there’s still a matter of choice somewhere along the road: to live or give up.

I’m an adult. I take responsibility for every socalled sin I commit, which often means I don’t give a fuck. It’s my universe and in my universe I live by my rules… as long as I deliberately don’t hurt anyone. But not hurting people is impossible; nothing is for free. Someone’s paying for it somewhere, no matter what you do.

A sin is always something the more righteous person (no matter religion, politics or background) is feeling envy of. They can’t have sex with whoever who wants to have sex with them. They aren't allowed to take illegal substances or enjoy the same sinful entertainment through movies and books like

other people. According to them we shouldn't have opinions that goes against theirs. They’re jealous of the freedom we have and they don’t and do everything they can to limit the freedom of others.

Sinning makes righteous people upset. Which is good.

What I’m saying here, eat that extra slice of cake and enjoy life. If the religious folks calls it sinning, please sin. A lot. All the time. Fuck, eat, have fun, laugh, be smart, be stupid, be whoever you are - as long you’re doing it for you own sake and not trying to push your agenda on those that don’t ask for it.
