NUMERALS

There are two different types of numbers. Cardinal numbers are the basic form, telling the amount of something. Ordinal numbers are used for putting things in order.

Example:

The building has twenty-seven floors. Jay lives on the twenty-seventh floor.

Draw lines between the ordinal numbers with the same meaning.

Write the cardinal number.

A. Read the sentences and place the people on the correct floor.

1. Laura lives on the ground floor.

2. Freddie lives two floors above Laura.

3. Max and Mia live on the top floor.

4. Mrs Tate lives on the same floor as Max and Mia.
