The story so far ‌ Tibbo comes to Earth to find the Hands of Time and save her planet. She meets four children and they become friends. Together they look for the Hands of Time and have many adventures. The children are sad when Tibbo goes back home, but she promises to visit them often.

CHAPTER 

I’m back!

It is the summer holidays. Kat is in the garden with her dogs. Suddenly, they start barking.

Kat sees four big eyes behind a tree. The person with the big, purple eyes runs to Kat and hugs her with her four arms.

“I’m back!” she says in a loud voice.

“Tibbo? Is it really you? I’ve missed you!

I’ve really, really missed you!” Kat says.

She is very happy to see her friend.

“It’s lovely to feet you again!” Tibbo answers.

Kat smiles. Tibbo’s special dictionary doesn’t always work.

“Silly dictionary! It’s nice to meet you,” Tibbo says.

Kat’s dogs are still barking – but their tails are wagging. They look happy too. Kat sees two yellow eyes and a metal tail. It’s K9. He looks

like a dog, but he is the captain of Tibbo’s spaceship.

“Hello, Kat!” K9 says. “Your dogs make a lot of noise!”

He picks up a stick and throws it to the other side of the garden.

Just then, Kat’s mum opens the back door.

“Why are the dogs barking? And who are you talking to?” she asks.

“I’m just talking to the dogs,” Kat says sweetly.

Mum looks around the garden. Did she just see …? Was that something with lots of arms?

And a strange-looking dog? She shuts her eyes and then opens them really wide. There is no one in the garden. Only Kat. And the dogs.

One of them has a big stick in his mouth.

Tibbo and K9 are invisible, so no one can see them.

“I must be imagining things,” Kat’s mum says to herself. She goes back inside. Then she comes out again.

“Sorry! I forgot. Leo is here.”

Leo is Vega’s little brother. And Vega is one of Kat’s best friends.

“Hi there! Where’s Vega?” Kat asks.

“Monty isn’t feeling well, so she has to take him to the vet,” Leo answers. “That’s why she can’t come swimming with you today.”

Monty is Vega’s pet snake. Kat hopes the vet likes snakes, especially big snakes.

Just then they hear a voice.

“Forget about swimming! I’m hungry!”

“Tibbo! You’re back!” Leo shouts. He looks around the garden. “Where are you?”

“Psst! We’re behind the big tree,” K9 says.

Leo hugs Tibbo and K9. He is happy to see them again too. Kat goes inside the house to fetch some food. A lot of food. Tibbo is small, but she has a very big appetite and is always hungry.

They sit outside in the garden and have a picnic. Tibbo puts her finger into the strawberry smoothie and drinks. (That is right – Tibbo does not use her mouth to drink. She uses her finger.) Then she puts the last piece of cake into her mouth before patting her stomach and burping.

“Delicious!” Tibbo says.

Kat, Leo, Tibbo and K9 have a lot to talk about. They talk for a very long time. Then Tibbo asks Kat if she wants to take a quick ride in the spaceship.

“Yes, please!” Kat shouts happily.

Leo wants to have a ride too.

“But Leo,” Kat says. “You have to go home.

Vega and your dad will be worried if they don’t know where you are.”

Leo looks very sad. It would be so cool to visit space! But he knows Kat is right.

He should go home.

“Where’s the spaceship?” Kat asks as Leo walks away.

Tibbo points to a dark corner of the big garden. The spaceship is not invisible anymore.

“Bye Leo!” Tibbo says. “See you later!”

“Come on, Kat!” K9 says. “Don’t you want to see the inside of the spaceship?”

Yes! Leo really, really, REALLY wants to look inside the spaceship. He wants that more than a new computer game. More than that awesome skateboard. More than …. Well, more than anything.

Leo smiles because he has an idea.

He has time to have a very quick look – right? Then he will go home. He runs to the corner of the garden and looks inside the spaceship. Tibbo, Kat and K9 do not see him.

Wow – it is incredible! He takes a step inside.

Then one more. And one more. And one more.
