Our Food Pantry serves the community on the second Saturday of each month; but if there is ever an emergency need for food, please contact the church office Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. @ 757-628-6543, and we will make arrangements with our Food Pantry Ministry for you to pickup some food.

 NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS AVAILABLE

Every Sunday after worship, there will be non-perishable food items available for church members and guests in the Fellowship Hall. All members and guests that receive food MUST sign the sign-in sheet for statistical purposes. Please email or call the church office if you desire to come during office hours, Tuesday-Thursday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

New items will be added weekly.

Remember, this is a true form of evangelism, outreach, and mission.

Reach out to someone in your neighborhood that may have a need, and let us show them the love of Christ. We must reach beyond our walls and ourselves, remembering the blessings that we experience every single day.

We have bags; however, we ask that you bring your own plastic and/or reusable bags.  PANERA BREAD

Our Food Pantry Ministry receives various breads and sweets on a weekly basis from Panera Bread. Please stop by the kitchen after worship on Sundays, or come by the church Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Call ahead if coming during the week, to be sure someone is here.  FOOD HANDLERS CARD

All volunteers, please remember to update your food handlers card and give a copy of your certificate to the church office to be posted. If you do not have one, please consider getting one. We will be needing volunteers for future ministries.  BAGS NEEDED

We need grocery store bags. If you have extras, please bring them to the church.  THANK YOU

Within its citadels God has proven a sure defense.

In the depth of our being, we know that in calling us, what you really seek is our faith, our belief, our conviction – our very hearts. What you long for from us is not a trip to church but a lifelong journey into the world to follow Jesus with our whole being. Forgive our unbelief, our holding back, and lead us in the way that frees us from the grip of the world – the way of life! In Christ, we pray. Amen.
