We appreciate ALL of our singers that have been a part of our Music Ministry since COVID came upon us; but a special “SHOUT OUT” is extended to our two young adult men, Mr. Darius Charles and Mr. Marvin Moore, who have given of themselves by helping to provide our music on a weekly basis.

They did not hesitate to say, Yes, when asked. We sincerely appreciate your continued service and dedication, especially as young adults, to our Music Ministry.  PANERA BREAD

Our Food Pantry Ministry receives various breads and sweets on a weekly basis from Panera Bread. We have an abundance baked goods, so if you would like some of these items, please stop by the kitchen after worship on Sundays, or come by the church Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Call ahead if coming during the week to be sure someone is here.

Other information:

Our Food Pantry serves the community on the second Saturday of each month; but if there is ever an emergency need for food, please contact the church office Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. @ 757-628-6543, and we will make arrangements with our Food Pantry Ministry for you to pickup some food.

 TIDEWATER COMMUNITY COLLEGE (TCC)

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Tidewater Community College is one of our newest Community Partners and they have many scholarship opportunities, but there are 3 in particular that they mentioned for the Summer/Fall 2021 School Year.

LEAP Program: This program will provide scholarships to cover tuition, book stipends and a laptop for 2021 High School or GED graduates, who enroll at TCC during the Summer 2021 semester for 6-12 credits.

REV (Re-employing Virginians) Program: This program will provide scholarships to eligible Virginians whose employment has been impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic, to pursue workforce training in a high-demand field. A $3,000 or $1,500 one time scholarship is available, depending on the program you choose.

G3 Virginia Grant: This program offers free tuition to low and middle income student in Virginia, who pursue education in highdemand areas. It also provides financial assistance to qualifying students for food, transportation and childcare.
