Talk to your doctor about breast cancer screenings and how often you should have them done in order to decrease your risk of developing breast cancer. Start to add in self breast exams to your routine in order to check for lumps or unusual signs that your breasts have changed. If you do begin to notice changes, go to your doctor immediately. Drink alcohol in moderation. Limit yourself to 1 glass per day or less if you do drink. Exercise most days of the week. Shoot for at least 30 minutes of exercise on most days of the week. If you haven’t been active in a while, ask your doctor if it is all right to start a routine. Limit postmenopausal hormone therapy since it may increase your risk of developing breast cancer. Talk with your doctor more about the benefits and risks of hormone therapy.

6. Maintain a healthy weight. If you need to lose weight, talk with your doctor on how to do it in a healthy and safe way. 7. Incorporate a healthy diet plan into your daily schedule that includes all the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs to keep you healthy and to help you maintain a healthy body weight. If you have any more questions or concerns regarding breast cancer, please seek out your doctor for more information. Source: Mayoclinic.com
