If you have to travel, especially by plane, train or bus, bring along a small bottle of essential oil. Thyme or oregano are good choices. Place a few drops on the sleeve of your shirt, or on the end of a scarf. Bring to your nose periodically throughout your trip and inhale deeply. Refresh with a few more drops every hour or so. The molecules from the oil will line your nasal passages and thyme and oregano have antiviral and antibacterial properties. Thyme is also excellent for the lungs.
