Golden Milk
a great alternative to a latte!
If a mid-afternoon latte is your go-to, but you struggle with sleep later in the evening, try golden milk instead. You’ll get the same cozy feeling and boost, but without the over stimulation from caffeine.

Recipe: 1½ cups plant-based milk / 1 tbsp maple syrup / ½ tsp vanilla extract / 1 tsp ground turmeric / ⅛ tsp ground ginger / a pinch of black pepper / ¼ tsp ground cinnamon / In a medium saucepan, heat the plant-based milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of black pepper, and whisk regularly for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve when it’s hot to drink. Add honey (optional) to taste.
