Spaghetti aglio e olio
If you're looking for the easiest Italian pasta dish ever, here it is, spaghetti aglio e olio (spaghetti with garlic and oil)
Recipe: 1 lb spaghetti / 10 tbsp extra virgin olive oil / 7 cloves chopped garlic (add chopped red pepper flakes for a spicier taste) / 3 tbsp of freshly chopped Italian parsley / sea salt and black pepper. Cook ½ lb of spaghetti until al dente. At the same time, pour the olive oil into a small frying pan, add chopped garlic and cook over low heat until it turns golden brown but does not burn. The longer you cook the garlic, the more flavor the oil will have. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain, transfer to a serving dish and add salt and pepper to taste. Pour over the olive oil and garlic. Toss well and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
