Wondering what to do with that broken lamp, bicycle, or vacuum cleaner? Don’t throw it in the landfill! Bring it to the Repair Café Five Cities for a free repair.

The Repair Café Five Cities hosts events several times a year in various locations on the Central Coast, offering the public an opportunity to bring their broken items to be worked on by an amazing community of volunteer fixers who are generous with their time and talent.

Originally founded in the Netherlands, Repair Cafés now have over 2,000 locations worldwide. The Five Cities branch was established in 2019, and since its inception has saved hundreds of repairable household items from landfills. Items that can be fixed include but are not limited to: toys, small electronics, lamps, clothing, bicycles, computers and printers, and cell phones. Free knife and tool sharpening services are also offered.
