Eileen de Coune OKLAHOMA CITY
Charles de Coune characterizes his wife, Eileen, as a woman who goes “above and beyond” in everything she does. “She excels as a mother and computer programmer whose efforts are truly helping Oklahoma City children.” As a board member for Eat Wise OKC, Eileen has helped to change the food culture of Oklahoma City Public Schools by reducing the amount of processed, sugary and starched foods offered in schools and increasing the amount of healthy options, such as fruits and vegetables. Parenting advice for new moms Have fun. Count your blessings and remember to look at the big picture when things get tough. More than anything, being a mom has taught me Life is so much better when absorbed through the eyes of a child.
