Move-In
Ensure that you have contacted the building’s superintendent, resident manager or management company to obtain a certificate of insurance and reserve an elevator and move-in day.
Gas and Electric
Most buildings leave the responsibility to you to create your gas and electric account with Consolidated Edison. If you are in Brooklyn, you may have a different provider (National Grid).
To create a new account or move your account, you must provide your personal information and all can be done online or via the telephone.
