My name is James Knatz II, I am 18 years old, and in the fall I will start attending Iowa State University to major in History Education! I have been in theatre for around ten years! I would act in whatever school plays they would let me in! Once I reached High School I got to play more dynamic characters like R.F Simpson in Singin In the Rain, and Joseph Pulitzer in Newsies! I love writing, cooking, and reading! I have been thrown in a dumpster! I have gotten stuck in a baby swing, and I have been run over in a golf cart! And I am so excited to play Beetlejuice!
Sophie Davidson
Sophie is so excited to make her RHCR debut this summer! Some of her past performances include TCR’s Beauty and the Beast (ensemble), The Laramie Project (Reggie Fluty and others), and Chicago: High School Edition (Velma Kelly). Sophie would like to give a huge thank you to her friends and family for their endless support, the cast and crew of Beetlejuice Jr for being amazing to work with, and James Knatz II for agreeing to audition for this show with her!
Ellis Melon
I am just so excited to be apart of this production! This is my first ever out of school Theatre experience and I’ve just had so much fun! I’m very proud of my work in this show, and happy with the friends I’ve made!
Saul Ervin
Hi! I’m Saul and I’m playing Adam! I’m going to be a senior at Kennedy high school and I’ll be involved with volleyball, show choir, theater, and jazz choir.
Tallulah Hoffman
My name is Tallulah Hoffman! This is the 4th theatre production I’ve been in. I play multiple roles in the ensemble :-) “The moon will sing a song for me, I loved you like the sun.” ~The Moon Will Sing, The Crane Wives
Rigley Ohrt
Rigley is beyond excited to be part of this production of Beetlejuice and have the opportunity to play a bucket list role. She has been involved with theatre since the age of 4 and has performed with many area theatre companies in town - TCR, Giving Tree, Young Footlighters, Blackhawk Children’s Theatre and Revival Theatre Company. Rigley is going to be a sophomore at Kennedy and is involved in Speech, Theatre, Happiness Inc., Marching and Concert Band, Chamber Choir and Moonlight Jazz Choir. She loves to travel, especially to Disney. Thank you to everyone involved with the production. Enjoy the show.
Kaiser Borchardt
Kaiser is excited for his first RHCR show. He has been in shows at Taft including Shrek in Sherk the Musical, GI Joe and Jack in Stocking Stuffers, Joel the Janitor in the talent show, and multiple roles including The Goose laying the egg and the Lord a Leaping. He would like to thank his parents and brother for supporting his acting career, his fellow actors for their comradery, and Victoria Cichoski for helping him out of his shell.
BEETLEJUICE JR. CAST BIOS
Talia Tungsiripat
Talia has loved working with the talented Beetlejuice Jr team this summer. She was in the ensemble of 13 last year at RHCR, and has been a part of several productions at Prairie Middle School. Talia wants to thank her family and friends for their love and support. Except her brother.
Colette Davis
Colette is thrilled to be part of this cast and her debut with RHCR! This is her 9th community theatre production in Marion or Cedar Rapids. Her favorite roles include Gretl Von Trap (Sound of Music), Lulu (Waitress), and a member of the Pirate Minion Brigade (Spongebob The Musical). She is very appreciative for the cast, crew, and her family for supporting her in this role. Colette hopes you all enjoy the show, and make it home without becoming a Recently Deceased!
Westley Lindo Ellis
Westley is excited to be in his 1st RHCR Theatre production! Westley made his acting debut in 2023 in Revival Theatre’s Honk! (Beaky) and went on to perform in TCR’s School of Rock (as keyboardist extraordinaire Lawrence Turner), McKinley’s musical Shrek Jr. (Donkey), TCR’s Beauty & The Beast (Chip), TCR’s Fun Home (Christian) and Revival Theatre’s Eliot Ness in Cleveland (Newsboy). He keeps busy playing keys in his School of Rock band, performing in show choir, doing ninja gymnastics and playing soccer. Westley thanks his family (including his theatre family) for supporting his big dream of singing & dancing his own way through life!
Natalie Baynes
I’m Natalie who is a Girl Scout. This is my first role in a musical but I have been in many other plays. I’m very exited for you to see this play it will be so good!
Finlee Sands
Finlee is very excited to play Sky in Beetlejuice Jr.! She will be in 5th grade at Prairie Creek and studies dance, voice, and piano. She has been in shows at Theatre Cedar Rapids and with Alisabeth Von Presley. This role has given her the confidence to seek out more challenging roles in the future. Finlee wants to thank her family for their support and her friends in the cast for all of the great memories!
Aiden Smith
Aiden Smith is so happy to be in a musical at RHCR for the first time. Aiden Smith has seen his family in plays at RHCR so he wanted to be in a musical as well. Aiden loves Beetlejuice the musical because it is so challenging. This is his 3rd time in a musical because he is very shy when it comes to singing so this is a rare moment for him. He would like to say thank you to his family and friends, especially Emy because she encourages him the most.
August Sands
August has been doing theatre for about four years and has been seen in TCR’s “Meet Me In St. Louis” (Children’s Ensemble), “Cabaret” (Boy Soprano), “The SpongeBob Musical” (The Boulder), “School of Rock” (James), Alisabeth Von Presley’s “Christmas in the Key of A” (Blitzen), Prairie Point’s “Seussical” (Jojo), and “A Year with Frog and Toad” (Frog). He is excited to be back on stage in the ensemble of Beetlejuice Jr. with RHC. He’d like to thank his family, friends, and the cast and crew for all of the help to make this show possible. Now sit back, relax, and get ready for “A Show About Death”.

Dillon is the best big brother to his three brothers & he enjoys spending time with friends & family. He’s just a poor boy from a poor family, spare him his life from this monstrosity.
