The proposal allows for the construction of the hotel in a new building on the corner of Vallarstræti and Aðalstræti and at Aðalstræti 11. Vallarstræti 4 remains where it is, and Aðalstræti 7 is relocated out of the competition area. There is a significant lack of information in the proposal on tackling the shortcomings which are within the area.

Höfundur leggur til að allar byggingarnar á svæðinu standi áfram og byggt verði fjögurra hæða hótel með fjölbreyttum afþreyingarmöguleikum á stórum hluta Ingólfstorgs. Tillagan er áhugaverð en nýbyggingin tekur mikið rými af torginu, lítið er unnið með almenningsrýmin. Umferðarflæðið um svæðið er ekki fullleyst. The author proposes that all buildings within the area remain and that a 4-floor hotel with various recreational possibilities be constructed on a large section of Ingólfstorg. The proposal is interesting, but the new building takes away too much space from the square; little work is done on the public areas. Traffic flow in the area is not completely resolved.
