Welcome to The Leopard 2017-18 THE LEOPARD: JOURNAL OF THE SKINNERS’ SCHOOL TUNBRIDGE WELLS

W

elcome to ‘The Leopard’ 2018! It has been my absolute pleasure to edit a magazine that is not only a chronicle of Skinners’ life over the past academic year, but also a tradition that Leopard editors Jay Smalley and dates back almost as Jacob Turner far as the school itself. Whilst the 1901 edition, the oldest in the school library, differs hugely from the current version, the premise is very much the same: ‘The Leopard’ still seeks to record and celebrate Skinners’ at its best, whether that be once-in-a-lifetime trips across the globe or the ins and outs of normal school life. On behalf of the whole editorial committee, I extend my thanks to all the members of staff and students who have contributed to this year’s publication. Special thanks go to Mr Wesson, Mrs Pittman and Mr Ubly: without their input and organisation it would have been impossible to put this together. Enjoy!
