Dear Readers...
Kuwait
recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of its National Day and 20th Anniversary of its Liberation Day with great pomp and flair. We, at Citypages, extend our heartiest congratulatory wishes to Kuwait on its National Day and Liberation Day. I was especially amazed by the spectacular firework display and the laser show that illuminated the night sky at the Kuwait Towers. The parade which featured Kuwait’s proud military men and war machinery from the different countries that played a part in Kuwait’s Liberation was very memorable. I was touched by the level of solidarity that was visible among the citizens of Kuwait. To commemorate the occasion, we have an expressive array of talent featured from Kuwait’s own backyard. These talented individuals have racked their creative brain to embellish Citypages with their individual artistic expression. I hope you enjoy meeting these people in the interview pages and marvel at their ingenuity. Another activity that has captivated people’s attention is the ICC World cup, with its emphasis on sportsmanship. We wish all the participating teams the best in their quest for glory. Wishing all Mothers a Happy Mother’s Day! This special day you have earned for being such a wonderful influence on the future generation. So children, do not waste a second to shower love and affection on the woman who has consistently bestowed on you her infinite love. The dictum of Mother’s Day is for people to connect with the selfless and loving people in their lives.
