Throughout the College, opportunities for student leadership are provided and strongly encouraged. Senior students take significant roles and exercise responsible guidance and role modelling. The College Captain, Deputy Captains, Prefects and Officers comprise the 72 leadership positions at Year 12 which has a natural flow to all other year levels. The next five years will be a major period of ongoing development at St Kevin's with a focus on embedding a culture of respect that sees inclusivity, transparency, communication, collaborative decision-making, student efficacy and staff engagement accompanied by the furnishing of partnerships within our Catholic context as fundamental pillars to write the next chapter.

The Respectful Relationship curriculum at St Kevin's continues to evolve as part of Professional Learning for staff and the teaching of students. The inclusion of health subject units in the Respectful Relationship curriculum, mental health and well-being, and advocacy for student voice is a key focus for the College. The wellbeing of the student is paramount, with the College seeking to foster a culture centred in relationships which promote positive behaviour and improved learning outcomes, and enhance the capacity to develop the holistic character of all boys. The College encourages students to pursue the truth, to discern a meaning and purpose for their existence and to enrich their spiritual lives. Respect, truth, freedom, justice, love and service are the guiding principles of all relationships and social activities. As a leader of learning and teaching, the College recognises the liberating power of education, seeking to foster an enduring love of learning and a drive for excellence in learning through engaging programs, quality teaching and through a culture of expectation. This sense of culture is extended to all members of the College through a strong sense of belonging, as well as the desire to care for, support and encourage all in the community.
