La Catrina Tacos and Tequila Wins Best All Around

In January 2018, Nereida Caro founded the popular Mount Vernon Mexican restaurant, La Catrina Tacos and Tequila, known for its authentic food and vibrant atmosphere. Every dish is made fresh from high-quality ingredients, offering bold, memorable flavors that pair beautifully with a wide variety of margaritas and more than 50 tequila selections.

“Customers appreciate our business because we prioritize creating a welcoming and memorable experience. They value our friendly and attentive customer service, the delicious food we serve, and the clean and inviting environment we maintain,” Nareida explained.

La Catrina is the realization of Nereida’s lifelong dream to open her own restaurant.

“As a Mexican immigrant, coming to this country with big dreams and a strong work ethic, I began my journey in the restaurant industry from the ground up. I started working in kitchens and dining rooms, learning the ins and outs of the business. Over time, I worked my way up to management, where I gained valuable experience in leadership, customer service, and operations. Those years taught me not only how to run a restaurant, but how to bring people together through food. This business represents more than just food—it’s a reflection of my journey, my culture, and the belief that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible,” shared Nareida.

“We’re honored to serve such a wonderful community, and we promise to continue providing great service, delicious food, and a welcoming place where everyone feels like family. Thank you for believing in us!”

What started as a small, humble operation has grown and evolved over the years.

Nereida has expanded the menu to include a variety of food and drinks that reflect both traditional Mexican flavors and modern tastes, including mouthwatering tacos, burritos, and traditional Mexican meals, alongside carefully curated Mexican cocktails made to complement the bold flavors of their dishes. Guests enjoy happy hour specials, Taco Tuesdays, plus vegetarian and seafood options. Catering is also available for a wide variety of events.

La Catrina introduces new seasonal drinks regularly, keeping the menu fresh and giving guests something new to look forward to throughout the year. Most recently, they have expanded the restaurant space to accommodate more guests and improve the overall dining experience. “It’s been a great way to welcome even more people from our community,” said Nereida.

“We want to sincerely thank everyone in the community who supports our business and took the time to vote for us. Many families are sustained by this restaurant. Your support means the world to us and motivates us to keep improving every day.

We’re proud to be located in downtown Mount Vernon and we’re also deeply thankful for the local businesses around us that support us and help bring people through our doors. This amazing community is a big part of our success. We believe in giving back and regularly

support and donate to local teams and organizations to help those in need. We’re honored to serve such a wonderful community, and we promise to continue providing great service, delicious food, and a welcoming place where everyone feels like family.

Sound Cedar Lumber Has Been Supplying Quality

Sound Cedar Lumber began in a tiny building in Conway in 1980. As the business grew, the location changed a couple of times and 20 years later moved into its current spot on Cedardale Road.

In 2018, Robert Desmarais, who had been an employee for 12 years at that time, purchased the company from the original owners. With the help of his family, his hard-working crew, and an amazing community, Robert has transformed the store into not only a cedar specialty store, but a lot more as well. “Since 2018, we have added about six times the inventory of the previous owners and have added many more product lines, including composite decking and cement board siding. Each year just gets better and better as we continue to bring on more and more products to help our customers get their projects finished,” he said.

As a cedar specialty store, Sound Cedar primarily focuses on western red cedar products with a wide selection of in-stock cedar fence/deck boards in various sizes and grades, pre-built cedar fence panels, split rail cedar, and pre-primed lumber. In addition, Sound Cedar stocks many other building materials customers may need such as Japanese cedar, pressure treated hem-fir,

Deckorators composite decking and aluminum railing, multiple brands of stain, fasteners and hardware, Big Green Egg grills, Allura fiber cement siding, and Mukilteo Cedar furniture.

Robert shared, “We have the largest in-stock supply of cedar products in the county as well as the largest inventory of Deckorators composite decking. Our goal is for our customers to be able to find just about anything they need to finish their home improvement projects. What we don’t carry in inventory, we can get quickly.” Indeed, the operations crew stays busy unloading trucks daily full of customers’

compared to the big box stores. “Our customers appreciate the wide variety of products we sell as well, and love our great customer service and friendly, knowledgeable staff,” he said.

The business offers local and worldwide delivery at competitive prices, but customers are always welcome to take a tour of their 8,000-squarefoot showroom and 14,000-square-foot warehouse that are both bursting with inventory.

“We want our customers to walk away knowing they are getting a great product, have all their questions answered, and understand that we’re here to help if they have

materials like Douglas fir, hog panel fencing, other composite decking brands, thermally modified wood siding and decking, steel deck framing, composite and vinyl fencing, and more.

Sound Cedar Lumber is very proud to be one of the few locally-owned lumber yards left in the area. Robert says customers are often shocked to discover better pricing and higher-quality products at Sound Cedar

any issues along the way,” Robert said.

After over 40 years in the Mount Vernon community, Robert plans to retire in December of 2026. Two of Sound Cedar’s sales reps, James and Nathan Ruble, will take over the store in his place, carrying on the title as a locally owned business. Robert and the staff cherish the relationships they have built sharing, “Our customers mean everything! We wouldn’t be where we

are without them.”

Robert continues, “From the bottom of my heart I thank you! This award means the world to me. I love being in business in Skagit county and the community voting for me reassures me they love us being here as well.

BC Accounting Inc Provides Businesses and Families

Founded in 2012 by Enrolled Agent and Certified Fraud Examiner, Bekki Cox, BC Accounting Inc. has grown into a thriving firm that far exceeded its founder’s early expectations. Bekki’s journey to entrepreneurship began when she was working in fast food to support her young daughter. A pivotal conversation with her brother’s college counselor shifted her perspective when she learned that children are 50% more likely to attend college if their parents do. Determined to create a brighter future for her daughter, she made the life-changing decision to enroll in college, which set in motion the path that would ultimately lead to the launch of BC Accounting Inc.

One of her first college courses helped students explore potential careers and it was there that Bekki discovered she was well suited for computers or accounting. Drawing inspiration from her mother, who owned a tax preparation business, she graduated with a bachelor’s degrees in accounting, gained invaluable work experience at a small Bellingham business, and then took her mother’s advice to start her own company, which she launched in September,

2012 with her first client. Through hard work and word-of-mouth referrals, the business has grown rapidly, offering bookkeeping services for businesses and tax preparation services for individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, estates/trusts, etc. By December 2012, Bekki opened a small office in downtown Mount Vernon. Within six years, she had bought her mother’s tax preparation firm and expanded her team to four employees. As demand continued to grow over the following decade, Bekki purchased a larger office building in Burlington. The team moved in and opened the doors on September 21, 2021. Since then, BC Accounting Inc. has added three more employees and welcomed countless new clients. Looking ahead, Bekki is working on rebranding the business and planning to launch a revamped website on January 1, 2026.

“My journey is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and the power of following your passion. I am deeply grateful to all who have supported me along the way and look forward to continued growth and success. I am also incredibly grateful to the community members

Being a small business owner herself, Bekki understands the challenges of running a business in today’s world with all the complex regulations and financial compliance. She shared, “Operating a business can be incredibly overwhelming, and our clients trust that we will handle their financial and compliance details thoroughly so they can focus on growing without risking their hard-earned progress.

Skagit County’s Doggy Come Play Treats Dogs Like Family with Unmatched Care and Fun

Doggy Come Play is a familyowned boarding and day care facility that has been serving dog owners in Skagit County for more than two decades with an innovative approach to dog care that sets them apart from the competition. Since opening in 1994, owners Joan Crane, David Crane, and Aaron Curbow have built a reputation for offering a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where dogs can play, relax, and make other doggy friends. This year marks the third year in a row that they have won Best Pet Kennel/Boarding/ Day Care in Skagit County.

“It is a real honor and privilege to win the Best Pet Kennel/Boarding/ Day Care award three years in a row. We are incredibly grateful to our clients for putting their trust in us for caring for their dogs. This award really goes to our staff. Without their hard work and dedication to Doggy Come Play, these awards would not be possible. We are all passionate about creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for our clients’ pets, whether it’s at daycare or boarding and it is so nice to know how much our efforts are appreciated,” shared Joan. Doggy Come Play began in 1994 with a simple idea: dogs deserve more than just a kennel. While working as a dog trainer, Joan saw that

clients disliked leaving their pets in confined boarding facilities. She believed socialized dogs could safely play together in yards with proper management. This belief became the foundation of Colony Mountain Critter Sitters, which later evolved into Doggy Come Play. “Our approach has been a game-changer, providing dogs with social interaction, mental stimulation, and a lot of fun during their stay. The result? Happy, healthy dogs who can’t wait to come back,” Joan explained.

Doggy Come Play offers both day care and boarding services, ensuring that every dog is treated like family. Whether dogs are staying for the day or spending the night, they enjoy a full day of free-roaming play, naps, and human affection. The staff goes above and beyond by celebrating dog birthdays (by request), posting daily photos on their Facebook page (allowing clients to see their dogs in action), and offering baths and nail trims.

Dogs are grouped by size—small dogs (up to 25 pounds) and big dogs (30 pounds and up)—to ensure safety and comfort for all while playing in the yard. “Dogs can simply be dogs here,” says Joan. “They play freely, rest when they want to, and always go home happy and healthy.”

The facility prides itself

on excellent customer service, exceptional cleanliness, and a highly trained staff who continually advance their skills through ongoing education with professional dog trainers.

“We would like to give a big shout out to our employees who follow our mission statement and care for our clients’ dogs as their own. Each of our employees know the names of every dog that comes to daycare and boarding, which is a real accomplishment considering we have roughly 700 clients and their dogs that use our

services. Without them, we would have no business. They are a huge part of our success. Thank you guys!”

Joan, David, Aaron, and their dedicated team are committed to providing top-tier care in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Doggy Come Play is not just a business—it’s a community. The facility actively supports local initiatives, and even commemorates the dogs that have passed away with dog houses displayed on their lobby walls, creating a lasting tribute to beloved pets. “We treat every dog like

they’re our own,” Joan says proudly. “We even name a small and large “Dog of the Month” to celebrate the unique personalities of our canine visitors.”

If you’re looking for a safe, loving, and playful environment for your socialized and spayed/ neutered (before 7 months) dog, give Doggy Come Play a call. Ask about their day care packages! The staff love big and small dogs and look forward to welcoming your pet into the Doggy Come Play family!

Skagit furniture store demonstrates resilience, community values

No one understands this better than Cindy Gerrior, owner of Hansen’s Furniture in West Mount Vernon. When a fire destroyed Hansen’s Furniture’s original building in 2016, she and her late husband Don were able to rebuild bigger and better. Now, she runs the business out of a two-story modernized building with 30,000 square feet of showroom.

“We are here because of our customers,” Cindy said. “Our customers are the heart and soul of the business. They mean everything.”

And it’s not just a matter of customer loyalty — many of Hansen’s customers are families who have shopped there for decades.

“Some of them are generational,” Cindy noted, adding that it’s “neat to see.”

Hansen’s Furniture has been in the valley since 1947. It was founded by Walt Hansen, then later acquired by Willard Trip. In the early 1980s, Willard employed Don as a delivery truck driver. He eventually moved to sales, a position he held for 20 years before he and Cindy purchased the store in 1998.

Hansen’s Furniture proudly carries a variety of made-in-theUSA furniture brands, including high-quality Amish pieces crafted

from solid wood. Customers can also find Sealy mattresses, lift chairs, complete bedroom sets, recliners, sofas, loveseats, and cabinets on the showroom floor.

The business does its own deliveries – Cindy commended her “great delivery guys” who set up everything and also remove the old furniture. Hansen’s also services what they sell, meaning if there is a problem, they take care of it or find a solution to get it fixed.

A priority, Cindy said, is to give the best possible

customer service to their customers. This means offering the best prices for the brands they sell; buying stock in volume to pass along savings; and of course, the “excellent” professional delivery team.

“We are a local familyowned store who care about what we sell and put effort and thought into everything that is in this store and reputable brands that we can feel proud of,” Cindy said.

Above all, Cindy is most proud to be able to give back to the community that raised

her. She graduated from Burlington High School. She met Don – also a resident of Skagit since his teenage years – at a bowling alley in 1979. The two celebrated 40 years of marriage in 2020 before he passed away.

“I am proud to carry on the torch of this business,” Cindy said. Now at the helm, Cindy makes it a priority to support local causes that are close to her heart. She contributes to several community organizations, including NOAH, YMCA, the Boys & Girls Club, and Hospice.

“Those are special to me and have meaning, make it worthwhile,” she said. Cindy is also deeply grateful for the community’s continued support. “I want to thank everyone who voted,” she said. “It is a true honor to be voted Skagit’s Best. We work hard and hopefully that is reflected when people walk in here.”

Her passion for what she does hasn’t faded. “I truly care about what we sell,” she said. “That’s what keeps me here.”

Our company operates with a family atmosphere and many of our employees have been with us since day one. Our son Jordan has worked for us since he was 16. He began working for us full-time after he completed the welding program at Skagit Valley College,” shared Kim.

Ronk Brothers Heating, Cooling, and Electrical wins Skagit’s

Ronk Brothers Heating, Cooling and Electrical was founded in 1971 with one goal in mind: to bring honest, reliable comfort solutions to homes across Skagit County.

“What began as a small, family-run heating business has grown and is continuing to grow into a full-service company serving Skagit, Whatcom, Snohomish, Island, and San Juan counties,” owner Brian Ronk said.

Under Brian’s leadership, the business has expanded its services to offer high-efficiency HVAC systems, electrical solutions, and home comfort upgrades with a “level of craftsmanship, care, and integrity that reflects who we are now and where we’re headed in terms of future.”

For the third year in a row, the business was named “Best Heating & AC Service.”

An exciting milestone this year was the launch of their new Ronk-branded heating and cooling equipment line.

“While we continue to offer and service a wide variety of trusted HVAC brands, introducing our own private-label line allows us to deliver systems that meet our exacting standards for quality, efficiency, and reliability,” Brian said. “This gives us more control over the products we install and the confidence to stand

firmly behind them for years to come.”

Beyond that, the company has been investing in strengthening the team and refining how they serve customers to keep pace with continued growth.

“We’re laying the groundwork for some exciting improvements ahead,” Brian hinted, “so we can continue raising the bar for home comfort in our community.”

The Ronk team provides residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and generator service.

Their team installs, maintains, and repairs systems designed to keep homes not only comfortable, but also reliable in every season.

home,” Brian said.

Customers appreciate that they “get more than a service call,” Brian said.

“They get a team that genuinely cares.”

The business specializes in heat pumps, mini splits, furnaces, and standby generators.

In addition, they also handle a range of smaller projects such as gas piping, ventilation, and indoor air quality solutions.

“Every service we offer is centered on helping our customers create a safe, efficient, and comfortable

“Our customers know they can count on us to communicate clearly, deliver quality craftsmanship, and stand behind every job,” he added.

“Most of all, they feel the difference in how we serve, because for us, it is not just about fixing a system.”

Their mission statement says it all: “It is about changing lives through genuine service for purposeful impact.”

From the bottom of their hearts, the team says thank you for being recognized once again among the best Skagit County businesses have to offer.

“Your trust and continued support mean everything to us,” Brian said. “We will keep earning that trust every single day through our commitment to you.”

With deep local roots, Ronk Brothers is proud to give back to the community. One aspect of this is their Community Impact Initiative, an internal department focused on giving back and staying actively involved.

“Whether it is supporting

local programs, helping families in need, or showing up for community events, it is our way of saying thank you to the people who have trusted us for decades,” Brian said.

“We do not just want to provide a service. We want to be part of the fabric of what is happening here,” he continued.

“When we look back on the thousands of homes we have stepped into, we see faces, stories, and relationships. That is what drives us. It is about standing behind our work, shoulder to shoulder, with the people who make this community what it is.”

Max Dale’s Steak & Chop House is a family legacy, community favorite

Max Dale’s Steak & Chop House is “nothing” without its customers, co-owner Danny Pickering said.

The Mount Vernon steakhouse was voted the best once again, and for good reason.

“We’re a small business with a heart that focuses on the locals,” Danny said. It was founded in 1951 when Max and Pauline Dale, inspired by their friend and Seattle restaurateur

Victor Rosellini, decided it was time to revamp their modest burgerand-fry menu into more sophisticated offerings.

It came into the hands

of the Pickering family in the 1980s, after Tony Pickering, a claim adjuster who helped process paperwork to rebuild the restaurant after a fire burned it down in 1976, grew excited by the potential and joined the Max Dale’s team full-time. Tony purchased the restaurant in 1982, and it soon became known for not only its delectable cuisine, but also its vibrant nightclub, offering live music six nights a week.

In 2006, Danny – Tony’s son – and his cousin Paul took the reins.

Danny’s interest in the restaurant business began at the age of four,

growing up with a dad who “loved the creative, social and business aspects of the industry.”

Paul was already working at Max Dale’s as the general manager. His wife handles bookkeeping, and their two daughters spent their teenage years bussing tables, hostessing, and occasionally helping out with catering.

The restaurant currently services specialty entrees like prime rib, filet mignon, and chicken marsala; gourmet bar food such as grilled chicken dips and breaded prawns; and craft cocktails, whiskey and wine in the adjoining

To Natural Way Chiropractic, the community and patients are “foundational.”

“The practice presents itself not just as a business, but as a partner in health, aiming to empower people to live pain-free, active lives,” said Julia Kleinendorst, manager and chief financial officer.

Natural Way Chiropractic’s first office was opened in 1995 in Bellingham, Wash. by Dr. Eddie Hansen. The clinic has since become employee-owned and expanded to multiple locations, the most recent office opening in

Arlington in May this year.

Dr. Hansen, alongside other associates, developed what they dubbed the “Natural Way Healing System.”

It’s a proprietary approach, Julia explained, that combines diagnostic tools, spinal scanning, chiropractic techniques, corrections, maintenance and patient education.

This system has been adopted across all of their offices to maintain a consistent high standard.

The clinic provides diagnostic and assessment services such as consultation and “discovery” sessions, spinal scans, digital x-rays, and orthopedic and

martini lounge.

“It’s inspired dishes and cocktails in a sophisticated setting,” Paul described.

Chef David Peterson has been “crafting culinary delights” since the mid1990s, and has been Max Dale’s Executive Chef since 2013.

Max Dale’s also specializes in creating catered events that are “as unique and memorable as the special occasions they celebrate.”

They offer tailored menus designed to meet the specific needs of the event, whether it be a wedding, corporate gathering, or anything in between.

There are also two private dining rooms available for venue rentals.

The cousins make it a point to curate repeat customers through the delivery of “excellent cuisine and customer service.”

neurological evaluations; spinal adjustments and manipulations using a blend of techniques; and periodic follow-up exams and maintenance care to prevent relapses or reoccurrence.

Some locations offer massage therapy. All provide wellness and patient education, such as guidance on posture, ergonomics, lifestyle and prevention.

The practice emphasizes personal relationships, Julia said – “greeting patients warmly, ensuring clear communication, explaining tests and results in a language patients can understand.”

Excellent customer

service, accurate diagnostics, individualized care, affordability, and consistent quality are some of Natural Way Chiropractic’s hallmarks.

The practitioners see their patients as more than just customers. They are clients who trust them with health, who become “long-term members of the ‘family’ of their practice,” according to Julia.

“You see hints of that in their patient-centered language,” she added. They also reject “guessing” approaches, preferring to use scans, imaging and assessments to tailor treatment.

In small or health-

oriented communities like Skagit County, Julia explained, such a clinic often becomes part of local health networks and gains reputation via wordof-mouth.

“Your trust means the world to us,” Julia said to every member of the community who voted the practice “Best Chiropractic” in Skagit County.

They are “honored to serve you, to be part of your health journey, and to be seen as a valued pillar in our community’s wellness journey,” Julia said, and they promise to remain committed to providing “caring, highquality, transparent, and

Save on Storage is Skagit’s best storage facility, 3 years running

This year Save On Storage made an exciting upgrade: a partnership with U-Haul, allowing them to provide onsite truck rentals.

“This addition helps streamline the moving process for our tenants and reflects our ongoing commitment to making life easier for those we serve,” said Damie Wenrick, site manager for the “Best Storage Facility” winner now three years running.

Save On Storage opened in 1995, founded by John and Dottie Piazza along with their partners Mark and Clair Litchman.

They envisioned a secure, convenient, and locally

owned storage solution where customer care came first.

“As Skagit County grew, so did we,” Damie said. “The business expanded its facility in 2004 and completed a full build-out in 2007.

“From the very beginning, our goal has been simple: to provide more than storage — to provide service with integrity, dependability, and a smile,” Damie said.

Save On Storage offers a range of secure storage units; secured mailboxes; boxes, tape and packaging materials; high-quality locks and moving supplies; and now, U-Haul truck rentals.

In short, they’re here to “make life a little easier.”

“Whether you’re moving, downsizing, starting a business, or just need a little extra space, you can count on us to treat you like family,” Damie said. It can be scary sometimes to trust others with your belongings. But according to Damie, “customers know they can rely on us not only for safe, secure storage, but for friendly, personalized service.”

They listen, they help, and they go the extra mile whenever they can.

“Many customers tell us they feel at ease from the first phone call — and that’s exactly what we aim for,” Damie said.

To Terra Forkner, her clients are not just faces in her chair.

“Our clients and community mean more to me than words can express,” the owner of Evolve Permanent Makeup said. “You’re part of the purpose God placed on my heart.”

Evolve, founded in 2018 in Mount Vernon, is known for creating “soft, natural, and lasting beauty.”

Terra specializes in hyperrealism brows and advanced permanent

makeup techniques to help women feel “effortlessly confident” every day.

The business also offers powder brows, combo brows, nano brows, microblading, lash line enhancement, permanent eyeliner, lip blush, and LiFT removal/lightening.

This year, Evolve was excited to welcome Lilly, its new Master Esthetician, to the team.

With her expertise, Evolve is now expanding its services to include custom facials, brow

“We believe it’s our genuine care and consistency that sets us apart,” she added.

Excellent customer service is at the core of everything they do.

“We strive to create a welcoming and worry-free experience from start to finish,” Damie said. “Fair pricing, clean and secure facilities, and a team that truly cares — these are the standards we hold ourselves to every day.”

Save on Storage is “incredibly honored and beyond grateful” to be named the best storage facility in Skagit for the third year in a row.

“This recognition is more than a title for us

– it’s a reflection of the relationships we’ve built and the service we strive to provide every day,” Damie said. “We’re proud to be part of this amazing community, and we look forward to continuing to serve you with care, professionalism and a friendly smile.”

lamination, lash lifts, brow tinting, lash tinting, and waxing services.

“These new additions complement our signature permanent makeup services, giving clients even more ways to feel confident, refreshed, and effortlessly beautiful,” Terra said.

Evolve always offers complimentary consultations to choose the right service for clients’ goals.

Clients appreciate Evolve for the care, passion, and artistry that go into every

service.

“My technique focuses on soft, natural, healed results that enhance each person’s unique beauty without ever feeling overdone,” Terra said. It’s that “subtle, polished finish that keeps clients coming back, trusting us to create results that feel like them, only better.”

Beyond the work itself, clients love the peaceful, welcoming environment – “a space filled with kindness, faith, and attention to detail where they can relax, feel

heard, and leave feeling confident and renewed,” she continued.

Terra’s faith is at the core of what she does.

“Every story, every smile, every transformation is a reminder of His grace and the beauty He allows me to share through my hands,” she said.

“I thank Him daily for the trust, love, and connection that makes this journey so special.”

Her clients’ love, trust, and support means the world to her, she continued.

“Every single vote is a reminder of why I do what I do – to serve, uplift, and help women feel confidently beautiful. I’m so grateful for each of you and the community that continues to believe in Evolve!”

Anchor Salon & Barbershop Has Earned Client Trust with Honest Consultations,

Great Hair—One Appointment at a Time!

Anchor Salon & Barbershop was launched by Jessica and Tony Rubino in 2019, fulfilling Jessica’s lifelong dream to own her own hair salon and bring an honest, friendly approach to hairdressing in Skagit County. Since then, the salon and barbershop has expanded through word of mouth while Jessica’s commitment to education has produced a well-trained team that provides clients with a consistent, welcoming vibe in a clean, comfortable, familyfriendly environment.

Jessica’s journey to salon owner began in childhood. “I fell in love with hair in junior high (I lived for “crazy hair day”), worked at a beauty-supply store in high school, and went straight to beauty school. There, I learned to follow my gut and be upfront about what’s achievable, which is why I direct my team to set clear, realistic expectations up front and deliver on time,” she shared.

The salon offers cuts, fades, undercuts, beard line-ups, straight-razor shaves, and hot-towel service. They also provide waxing and color and chemical work, including gray blending, balayage, highlights and perms – creating

multi-visit plans when needed to achieve the look the client is seeking. Consultations are always free. Stylists take the time to plan the desired look, outline the process, and discuss timing, cost, and maintenance so there are no surprises.

Earlier this year, Jessica and Tony renewed the lease on their salon and are now hiring new talent to grow the team while maintaining the quality service that Anchor’s clients have come to expect. Upgrades have been made to the salon’s retail shelves so they can rotate in more top-tier hair products that clients have been asking for. Mount Vernon Carpet One Offers Three Generations of

Community, and Flooring Excellence

Mount Vernon Carpet One was founded in 1978 by Don Wetsch, who soon partnered with Tom Brown to grow the business. Don’s daughter, Debbie, grew up around the store and later became an integral part of the company.

More than 30 years ago, Debbie’s childhood friend, Lisa Newman, joined the team under Tom’s leadership and has been part of the business ever since. In the early 2000s, ownership transitioned to the next generation— Debbie purchased her father’s share, and Lisa later acquired Tom’s.

In 2015, Debbie’s daughter, Nicole, and her husband, Joe, joined the business, continuing the family tradition.

Their 1 ½ year old son, Jayce, proudly holds the playful title of “CEO – Chief Entertainment Officer.” Together, they represent the third, and hopefully one day the fourth, generation of family ownership carrying forward the Mount Vernon Carpet One legacy.

Over the past year, the business has upgraded both their showroom and the customer experience. They’ve introduced new technologies and reimagined the shopping process to make it easier and more enjoyable.

Displays are now colorcoordinated, allowing clients to be inspired by

design and color while also making selections more efficiently.

Nicole and the team are proud to be a part of the Carpet One Cooperative, which is not a franchise. She explained, “As a locally owned, woman-owned business with deep roots in the community, the cooperative allows us to maintain independence while also joining forces with thousands of other Carpet One stores. This collective buying power lets us pass on significant savings to our clients, while offering exclusive

That’s why we stand behind our Carpet One Beautiful Guarantee. If a client doesn’t love their new Carpet One flooring within the first 30 days (or longer, depending on the product), we will replace it with another of equal or lesser value—

Mount Vernon Carpet One’s authenticity and reliability. The team follows through on promises and supports clients at every stage, from inspiration to installation and after their project is completed. Clients return for the great prices and design consultants, who are seasoned professionals with five to 25 years of flooring expertise at the store. They take the time to educate clients on

products that fit their homes and lifestyles, offering the confidence and peace of mind that comes with trusted guidance.

The team at Mount Vernon Carpet One is deeply grateful for being voted Best Flooring Company. “THANK YOU! We are deeply grateful for your support, loyalty, and trust in our store.

Coconut Kenny’s Offers a Taste of Paradise in the Pacific Northwest with Island Inspired Fare

For 21 years, Coconut Kenny’s has been dedicated to giving customers a dining experience that takes them to paradise. The island-inspired restaurant offers a simple promise: great food and service for its customers.

Brothers, Chay and Lee Tan, purchased the original Bellingham location in 2004. What began as one tropicalthemed neighborhood favorite has grown to eight locations across Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish counties— known for their craveworthy gourmet pan pizzas on signature toasted cheese crust and a laid-back “slice of paradise” vibe. Other favorites include islandinspired sandwiches on freshly baked Hawaiian bread, cheese balls, salads, nachos, and wings. Not to mention the great beer and wine list and dessert menu. In the last year, they added a new spicy Hulapeño pizza, Loco Nachos (inspired by their popular Waikiki pizza with some heat), and five wing flavors.  Chay and Lee pride themselves on being more than a pizza restaurant.

“We’re a cornerstone of our local communities. We’re committed to excellence as a restaurant, employer, and business partner of choice,” said President Chay. In practical terms, that means growth and a fair wage for

its employees and unwavering passion and professionalism for its business partners. They also proudly invest in student athletics through a comprehensive, custom sponsorship program that supports local teams and fosters community spirit.

“We would like to thank our Coconut Kenny’s family for all of your support throughout the years. The community and our customers mean

everything. We live here, hire here, and give back here—supporting schools, students, teams, and local causes.

Many guests and team members have been with us since day one, and that loyalty drives us,” said Chay.

One of the ways Coconut Kenny’s shows appreciation for its customers is through its comprehensive loyalty program with earned rewards, giveaways, birthday gifts, and monthly VIP offers. The business also recently launched a new hybrid app plus online

ordering with improved experience.

“Customers appreciate that we’re locally owned and offer genuine hospitality with consistently delicious food. Our guests come back again and again for big moments, easy dinners, and everything in between. We’re honored to be voted Best Pizza in Skagit County. Thank you for your continued support and for making Coconut Kenny’s part of this amazing community,” said Chay.

Their newest spot in Lake Stevens opened with

a taproom and 40-tap self-pour wall in March, 2024. The brothers have big plans for expanding Coconut Kenny’s into more communities in the Pacific Northwest, with a franchising strategy in the works and a vision to bring their islandinspired flavors to new neighborhoods across the region.

“Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, we want you to feel like you’ve found your local slice of paradise,” said Chay. So, if you’re ready to take a quick break from everyday life for a delicious and relaxing

For more than four decades, Piazza Realty Property Management has been a trusted name in Skagit Valley

What began in the 1980s as a family business founded by John and Dottie Piazza has grown into one of the region’s most respected property management companies still family-owned, still community-centered, and now officially recognized as the Best Property Management Company in Skagit Valley for 2025.

When owner Kathy Piazza took the reins in 2011, she knew she was inheriting more than just a business, she was carrying on her parents’ legacy of integrity, hard work, and service. “My parents built this company on relationships,” Kathy said. “They saw a need to help property owners manage their rentals and wanted to make it easier for people to invest in the community. I’ve always felt proud to continue what they started.”

That sense of continuity and care is woven into everything Piazza Realty Property Management does. Over the years, the company has grown steadily while maintaining its local roots. Today, Kathy leads a dedicated team that manages a wide range of residential and commercial properties throughout Skagit County, and now into Whatcom County as well.

Three Years in a Row: 2023, 2024, 2025!

Backbreakers NW was built on one simple mission: to make one of life’s most stressful experiences feel stressfree. The company was founded over a decade ago on Whidbey Island. One of the owners, Dane Guetlin, opened the Sedro-Woolley location in June 2021, bringing premium moving services to Skagit County.

The Sedro-Woolley office has quickly grown into a powerhouse team; professional, hardworking, and known for going the extra mile. “We’re proud of the culture and energy that’s been built here.

I remember that June when I started with one truck and one employee, doing everything by myself. Since then, our Sedro-Woolley office has expanded in several ways. We upgraded our fleet and launched new services including ecofriendly bin rentals. Today we have 12 movers and three office personnel, five trucks, software systems, and social media. We’re also forming stronger partnerships with local realtors and businesses, helping create a smoother, more connected moving experience for the people we serve. It’s amazing to look back and see how much we have grown as a company,” shared Dane. Dane continued, “Our customers appreciate us because we show

Since 1934, family-owned classic car clubhouse showcases only the best

PIt’s a passion carried forward from the days of Cadillac V16s, Packards and Speedsters. Nearly 100 years after his father Otto started Drager’s Harley-Davidson in 1934, Jeri Drager has transformed the business into a thriving, vibrant showcase of classic cars and bikes – a business that quite literally makes people stop and turn around on the highway to get a better look.

Located just off Interstate 5 in Burlington, its origins can be traced back to Aberdeen, before moving to Bremerton in 1940. In 1950, Jeri and his family moved to Seattle and his parents continued to operate the shop. Jeri graduated high school in 1960 and joined the family business full-time.

art of attaining responsible adulthood is the ability to discriminate between needs and wants. But if you are a lover of classic automobiles, you may find it impossible to distinguish between the two If so, you ’ re just the sort of customer that Drager s International Classic Sales is looking for Jeri Drager’s love of automobiles is embedded in his DNA.

His father started Drager’s Harley Davidson in 1934 in Aberdeen, Washington. In 1950, the dealership was relocated to Seattle, but Jeri ultimately decided to branch out into classic car sales, and in 1986 he purchased property on Aurora Ave. N., where he opened Drager s Clubhouse. In 2020, he moved his classic car venue to the Skagit Valley, where he built the current showroom/museum known as Drager’s International Classic Sales.

“We have a very large collection of automobile toys, all sorts of things and a lot to see,” Jeri said. But the memorabilia is not for sale. “Lots of people want to buy all of those different things hanging on the walls or in showcases but I tell them no. I tell them if I sold it, the next person that came in the door wouldn’t get to see it.”

It’s not just a shop, it’s a museum.

Ten years later, he bought his first classic car – a 1935 Packard Super Eight four-door sedan with dual side mounts – and then four others, including a custom 1954 Corvette that had been modified with a V8 engine.

“It is one of the few cars I regret selling,” Jeri lamented.

We buy and sell classic cars and trucks,” says Jeri. “There’s a lot of classic car people in the area, and we do more business up here than we did down in Seattle. In addition to a tremendous selection of great cars, our showroom is also a museum of automobilia and other collections that you have to experience to truly appreciate.

The oldest motor is a 1916 Harley-Davidson V-twin. Next up, a 1918 Excelsior that hasn’t run since 1965. And the collection keeps growing. Drager, his son Andrew, and occasionally his granddaughter Jannah operate Drager’s International Classic Sales, more affectionately known as Drager’s Clubhouse. They have more than 100 motorcycles on display, and a plethora of classic cars kept in near-mint condition.

In 1986, he bought a piece of property on 49th and Aurora Avenue. It wasn’t very big, Jeri said, but he could fit about six cars inside and about 15 cars in the lot on the south side of the building. He and his wife Joan operated it together. “We made a great team,” Jeri said.

Drager’s International stayed there until 2000, when he bought a 20,000 square-foot building in Shoreline.

For anyone who has reached a point in life where the car they may have fantasized about owning in their youth has become attainable, Jeri Drager’s advice is to take their time and do their research.

In 2020, a California company made him an offer on the property.

“out of the clear blue.”

“There are some really good online resources such as autotrader.com and Hemmings Motor News (www.hemmings.com). Hemmings has been around since the 1950s and Drager s advertises through them as well.”

And at the same time, a good friend let him know someone wanted to sell his building in Burlington and retire, Jeri recalled.

Jeri not only purchased that building, but the one

across the street, too.

“The clubhouse really turned out extremely well,” he said. “It was a great place to display all the antiques … I can remember in the beginning, we had all sorts of room and we’ve now filled it full.”

Locating the classic car of your dreams also means being willing to travel. Jeri can recount a number of horror stories of people who bought their vehicle online without having inspected it. Although there are people throughout the country who will perform inspections remotely Jeri is highly leery of purchasing anything sight unseen. “We have a local inspection resource who is also an amazing auto detailer, and I encourage people to find someone they trust if they lack the

two things: quality and care.

“I like nice,” Jeri said. “We work hard to make sure that the clubhouse is clean and picked up. That looks good.”

sufficient knowledge to know what they’re getting into ”

Car clubs visit frequently; the clubhouse can accommodate more than 200 people for an event, so the facility makes for a good rentable venue. There’s a stage, sound and video system. It’s even got a kitchen area, so catering can be arranged.

“We work hard to make sure our inventory is always serviced and safety checked and ready to go, ” says Jeri. “I want people to feel satisfied with their purchase, so we take a number of photos of our cars and trucks sometimes over 200 photos of one vehicle. We’ll also shoot an approximately 20-minute video of the vehicle so you can hear it as well as see it.

Customers can count on

He only takes in the best of the best – if a potential car needs paint, he won’t even look at it. “I want nice, good-looking cars in great shape and that’s the way we try to keep the building looking,’” he said.

Jeri said he’s had more than one person tell him they like his clubhouse better than the LeMayAmerica’s Car Museum in Tacoma.

Once a person has found and inspected the car they want, there

is also the issue of transporting it to its new home. While a lot of Drager ’ s customers live in the Pacific Northwest, Jeri has many buyers from out-of-state as well. “We ship worldwide,”he says. “We’re currently shipping a car to Dubai. When it comes to budgeting for a classic car, Jeri also recommends allowing for possible modifications, although he prefers his cars to be in as close to original condition as possible. He also invites classic car enthusiasts to spend time at Drager’s

“Most everyone that comes in for the first time can’t believe what all they’re seeing and how well it’s kept,” he said. It’s not just the cars, after all, it’s everything adorning the walls and display cases.

Jeri thanked the community members who voted his business “Best Classic Car Sales” and “Best Museum.”

Clubhouse, a unique showroom venue that comes complete with a stage for events as well as being a retail venue. We have car clubs that come by for tours, and we ’ ve hosted everything from birthday and retirement parties to wedding receptions.”

“There is plenty to see,” he said. “As one person said, ‘Jeri has one of everything.’ Come and see for yourself.”

“I really like having a good looking facility for people to view the things that I’ve collected over the years, and we like people to feel welcome here at Drager ’ s Clubhouse. I like nice cars so I buy nice cars. ” Scan to see our

The Skagit Casino Resort Celebrates 30 Years of Fun and Community in the Skagit Valley!

For 30 years, guests from near and far have come to The Skagit Casino Resort for its exciting Las Vegas style entertainment and hospitality. The Casino boasts an expansive gaming floor, restaurants, tobacco products at deep discounts in the tobacco shop, two hotels, banquet facilities with on-site catering, and a concert venue where headline acts perform in an intimate setting. It’s a popular destination for a memorable date night or a fun mini getaway.

The Skagit Casino Resort prides itself on being customer focused, always striving to provide excellent service and an overall great experience.

“I think customers appreciate the Skagit Casino because it gives them an opportunity to unwind without having to travel too far. But, regardless of where you travel from, you can expect to be treated with the same welcoming service as a local,” shared Director of Operations, Kat Maloney.

The Upper Skagit Indian Tribe opened The Skagit Casino Resort in December 1995 as Harrah’s Skagit Valley Casino. Harrah’s and the tribe concluded their management partnership in 2000, when the tribe became a self-operator, updating the business name to The Skagit Valley Casino Resort.

This is also when the property expanded and added a 103-room hotel with a pool and fitness facility, banquet event space, and concert venue. In 2003, additional banquet space was added to the main hotel as well as a gas station across Bow Hill Road, just south of the main facility, with some of the lowest gas prices in the Valley. In 2006, The Skagit Ridge, a second boutique hotel, with 41 rooms that overlooks a serene view of the valley was opened near the gas station.

“We are proud to have served the local community as an entertainment destination for the past thirty years. Our local customer base is very important to our business, and we strive to involve ourselves and support the Skagit community by sponsoring local events and organizations as well as partnering with other local businesses to showcase all the

In addition, we recently enhanced our monthly promotions with roaming, interactive weekend entertainers, which has been a hit with our customers.”   Kat went on to express the team’s gratitude, noting, “We would like to give a sincere thank you to all who voted for us for Best Date Night. Skagit Valley Food Co-op Builds a Better Community Through Food

Located in Downtown Mount Vernon, Skagit Valley Food Co‑op has been serving the area as a natural foods grocer since 1973 with a mission to provide good food at a good price while taking care of its employees, the community, and the planet. The Co op is a great place to find fresh local produce, quality ingredients, and everyday grocery essentials, as well as delicious meals and treats including artisan breads, chewy cookies, their famous sandwiches, and some of the best chicken wings in town all handmade at the Co op.

“We’re here to provide a different kind of grocery shopping experience.

We’re all about bringing people together to enjoy great food. Inside you’ll find everything you need to create a feel good meal.

There’s a full service deli and bakery along with hard to find personal care and wellness items and an entire department of gifts and home goods (and more!) on our second floor,” shared Marketing & Outreach Director, Nicole Noteboom.

The Co op’s gift shop was voted Best Gift Shop in 2022 and again in 2025. If you’re looking to shop local this holiday season, they have an amazing selection of handmade jewelry, local goods, organic clothing, and books! They even have gifts for kids like puzzles,

games, and art supplies for some good ol’ fashioned fun (and a little less screen time).

Nicole expressed, “We are here to serve the community. Thank you so much to each of you for your votes in so many great categories!

The Co op has always looked for ways to share our love of food and to preserve our valley by connecting people to it, and to each other. We do more than provide a vital service as a community grocery owned store working with other local businesses and farmers; we’re committed to giving back and to protecting this beautiful place we call home through a number of community giving and sustainability efforts.”

“Many people still don’t know what a food co op is, and that’s okay! The simple answer? We’re your hometown grocery store, locally owned by the people who work and shop here. And everyone is welcome to shop; we’re not a fancy club. The juicier version?

Cooperation is a better way to do business. Unlike other grocery stores, we’re totally

on solid cooperative principles. We send more profits directly back to our employees, members, and the community by paying livable wages, offering discounts, and by working with local growers, brewers, bakers, and makers (can you say job creation?). Because the Co op keeps more money in the local economy, shopping here means hard earned dollars are more likely to stay right here in Skagit,” Nicole explained.

Don’t let the old bricks fool you! Inside is a wonderland of wellness in a cozy, welcoming space.

“Customers always rave about the ambiance and homey feel. Our food is healthy and fresh, our service is friendly, and we’re as local as it gets when it comes to grocery stores,” said Nicole. Come by for a visit! The store is

Sisters take the helm at Riverside Health Club

The two sisters dreamed about this for a long time. Now to call it their own feels “surreal.”

“We’re honestly still pinching ourselves that we not only get to work together, but that we get to carry forward such a special legacy in a community we love so much,” Theresa Butcher said.

Theresa and her sister Beth Baeslack recently assumed co-ownership of Riverside Health Club, a staple for fitness in Skagit County since 1971.

What started as a small facility has grown steadily to add programs, expand locations (Mount Vernon and Sedro-Woolley) and earn a strong reputation as a trusted space for health.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” Theresa said to the customers who voted them “Best Health Club” in Skagit County this year.

“Your support means the world to us. We’re honored to have your vote and even more grateful to be part of such an amazing community.”

This year, Theresa and Beth invested in brandnew equipment, a renovated functional training room, and a completely new men’s shower area.

They also introduced new ways to connect, such as instituting a member leader board, hosting events, and organizing community runs. Theresa said this has created “fresh momentum

and a deeper sense of belonging throughout the club.”

“There’s a real buzz in the air right now,” she said.

“We have an incredible team and an amazing group of members.”

The sisters plan to continue reinvesting in the building, the staff, the programming, and the equipment.

“It’s all part of keeping Riverside the best it can be,” Theresa said.

The club offers a vast range of fitness and wellness services, including both personal and small group training;

“Our members inspire us daily with their dedication, their stories, and their support,” Theresa said.

“Seeing them show up for themselves – and for each other – is what keeps us motivated to keep growing and improving.”

swim lessons; strength and cardio training equipment; dry and wet saunas; a racquetball court; and a women’sonly gym.

Its full aquatics center features lanes for lap swimming, an exercise pool, and a hot tub.

Classes offered include group fitness such as barre and yoga; specialty senior fitness programs; and water fitness classes. Riverside is a MOSSA

affiliate, and facilitates programs such as Group Ride, Group Blast, Group Power, and Group Century on the group fitness schedule.

The club frequently holds community events and seasonal fitness challenges for its members.

“The gym is a second home to so many of us, and we don’t take that lightly,” Theresa said.

“We prioritize having a welcoming environment, supportive staff, innovative programming, and a clean, modern facility.”

Above all, she said, “we want to see our members win. We’re rooting for them.”

Everything they do, from equipment upgrades to staff training, is about helping their members

“Our members inspire us daily with their dedication, their stories, and their support,” Theresa said. “Seeing them show up for themselves – and for each other – is what keeps us motivated to keep growing and improving.”

Their loyalty and enthusiasm mean the world to the club, Theresa added. “It’s the members who make Riverside the place we all want to be.” Fitness, after all, should be about more than just working out.

“It should be about belonging, growth, and becoming the best version of yourself in a space where you feel seen and supported,” Theresa said. “That’s what we’re building at Riverside.”

Premier Electrical Services has gone from ‘one man in a van’ to Skagit’s favorite electrician

It’s aptly named.

Premier Electrical Services was voted “Best Electrician” in Skagit County this year, and owner Darren Maybruck is “deeply grateful.”

“We have tremendous appreciation for the support of the greater Skagit community,” he said.

“Every year we feel even more humbled and honored to have the trust of our customers and loyalty of the people of Skagit Valley reflected in their repeat business, referrals, and taking the time to cast their votes.”

The business has come a long way since its humble beginnings of “one man and a ‘van,’” but it’s still a small, local shop.

Now, it’s a multifaceted, multi-crew electrical shop with impressive resources and several journey-level electricians – “a diligent, impactful, and reputable resource within the community.”

Last year, they added a couple of vehicles to the fleet, including a boom truck.

They continue to see steady growth, including weekly service calls for all aspects of residential services, from knob and tube upgrades to full-blown remodels to all electrical wiring within entire multihome developments.

Darren pays homage to his committed and professional employees and administrative staff. “They really are integral to the business.”

“Our commercial electrical services are ongoing and strong, helping other businesses make money and provide their services,” Darren said.

Residential services at Premier include power company coordination; project planning and development; customer electrical support and design-build coordination; electrical wiring of custom homes, multi-home developments, and barn-dominiums; large and small shop structures such as greenhouses, outbuild-

Specialized commercial electrical services include tenant improvement projects; commercial building wiring; commercial troubleshooting and ongoing service agreements; commercial interior and exterior lighting upgrades (including parking lots and high-bays); fire alarm control; and security lighting.

“Our customers are at

the core of what we do,” Darren said. “We don’t just sell products and services; we solve problems and help people improve their homes and businesses.”

The tagline is “professional, experienced, honorable.”

“We also pride ourselves on providing comprehensive electrical services that are strategically planned to meet the needs of the customer, and then skillfully installed using quality materials,” Darren explained. “Everything we do meets or exceeds

code requirements and must adhere to our high standards of excellence.

Those standards include values like safety, quality, integrity, trust, honor, reliability, and dependability.

“Everything we do must adhere to those values,”

Darren said. It’s easy in a place you love.

“Skagit County is a very special place near and dear to my heart,” Darren said. His wife grew up in Mount Vernon, and they raised their kids there.

“The sense of community Skagit Valley offers is phenomenal,” he said.

Along the way, he’s gotten to know and conduct business with people of many different walks of life, procuring “a lot of mutually beneficial, respectful, and professional relationships in the process.”

“Providing services that help our customers’ homes and businesses be safe, functional, and comfortable is very satisfying and rewarding,” Darren said.

Premier operates 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phones are answered on weekends during approximately the same hours. They can be reached at 360-4215230.

Father-son team skyrockets new painting business to the top

You know they’re a quality establishment when just a year after opening their doors, Rivera’s Pro Painting is already raking in the awards.

Voted both “Best Painting Company” and “Best First Year Business,” the family-owned operation has seen “steady and meaningful growth” since it opened its doors in June 2024.

The company was founded by father-andson team Jaime RiveraCastro (Sr.) and Jaime Rivera-Valles (Jr.). Both had previously worked side by side for more than five years at another painting company, each managing their own crews and overseeing projects from start to finish.

It was during that period of time when they realized that with the amount of responsibility they had, they were ready to branch out and build a company of their own.

“In the early months, most of our work came through subcontracting for larger painting companies,” Luis Rivera explained. (Rivera, another member of the family, recently joined the team to manage the business’s social media presence and assist with onsite labor.)

“However, as our reputation for reliable service and attention to detail spread, we began receiving more direct clients.”

The company offers

residential and commercial painting; wallpapering; and dry rot repair

Word of mouth has been the “strongest driver of new business,” Rivera said, but social media and Google has also played an important role in reaching a wider audience.

In the last few months, the family has invested in a new work truck, which has allowed them to operate two crews simultaneously.

“This has been a big step forward, enabling us to take on more projects and provide faster service to our customers,” Rivera said.

Looking ahead, they plan to keep expanding the team and are aiming to hire at least one more employee by the end of the year.

“These additions mark an exciting stage of growth for our business and reflect our commitment to meeting the increasing demand from our community,” Rivera said.

Their slogan is “Bringing the best quality work.”

Rivera said it’s not just a phrase, it’s a promise.

“We know that the homes and businesses we paint are an important part of people’s lives, and we treat each one with the respect and attention it deserves,” he said.

Their customers and community mean “everything” to them, Rivera continued, and the support they have received has allowed them to grow. “In return,

we’re committed to giving back by delivering lasting, high-quality work that our clients can be proud of.”

As a family-owned business with “deep roots” in Skagit Valley, Rivera said the company takes pride in serving its neighbors with “honesty, reliability, and care.”

“Every project is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to strengthen trust and showcase the craftsmanship we stand behind.”

Customers appreciate the business because of the way the Rivera family combines professionalism and genuine care. “We’re friendly, approachable, and respectful of people’s homes and spaces, which helps clients feel comfortable and confident throughout their projects,” Rivera said.

“Beyond that,” he added, “We take pride in keeping our word, honoring our commitments, and standing behind everything we do.”

The family sincerely thanked everyone in the

community for voting for their business.

“Your support means so much to us and motivates us to keep delivering the best quality work we can,” Rivera said. “As a familyowned company, we feel truly blessed to have the trust of our neighbors, and we don’t take that for granted.”

Every voter is a reminder that the effort and care they put into each project makes a difference, he added, and “we’re grateful to be able to serve such an amazing community.”
